The Lucky Duck Fishing Camp is a place for everyone. Enjoy your coffee on the dock. Play video games laying on Big Joe, a queen-size bean bag chair. Grill and sit by the fire with friends. Or just read a book in the massive screened-in porch overlooking the lake. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to rejuvenate, but close enough to experience all NELA has to offer. So bring your fishing gear and come to our perfect weekend getaway. The Lucky Duck Fishing Camp is a 2-story cottage with 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom is located downstairs. It has a queen-size bed with a super comfy Serta-pillowtop mattress and a huge ensuite bathroom. There is also a small 1/2 bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms. The Rainbow Room is a huge bonus room complete with 2 ea twin-size beds and a full-size bed. The Game Room boasts a huge tv and Big Joe. Big Joe is a queen-size bean bag chair that is perfect for reading, playing games, or even sleeping. There is also a futon couch that lays flat into a full-size bed. We can also provide a queen-size air mattress if needed. There is plenty of room in the Game Room to set it up! The driveway to The Lucky Duck is shared with our home. There is room for 2 vehicles to park under the carport. Please make sure to pull all the way up into the carport so we are able to park our vehicles behind the main house. Bartholomew Woods subdivision is a beautiful neighborhood filled with eclectic homes and stunning views of the lake. Bartholomew Landing is a quiet, little subdivision right off of highway 165. You can glimpse views of the gorgeous water as you stroll through the islands. Make sure to pay attention to the unique architecture of the homes as you make the loop. The wifi is very limited. We have provided a hotspot, but it can sometimes be unreliable. We do, however, provide board games and movies. So unplug, relax, enjoy, and connect with your family and friends. The Lucky Duck is a 2700 sq foot private residence, but it does share outdoor space with our home. We share the driveway and the backyard. That being said, we want to respect your privacy! We will follow your lead in every way. If you want us to personally meet you and walk you through the property, we will be happy to do so. If you want us to be out of sight and out of mind, we will make ourselves scarce. If you love dogs and want our big, slobbery Great Dane to come to play, she will be happy too. She considers herself to be a very professional host. If you do not like dogs and just want to have quiet time, you will never see her. If you realized you left your favorite purple glittery nail polish at home and your outfit is incomplete without it.. message me! I bet I have the perfect shade I can walk over. If you got here and realized you can't grill the perfect hamburger without a specific seasoning: message! If we have it in our spice rack then we will come to save the day.
