Casa Thymus - a place for travellers not tourists

Casa Thymus is the destination for travelers and travelling. Located in Soveja, Vrancea county, in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, Casa Thymus is composed of two villas built entirely in the traditional local style, with modern interiors. The villas can accommodate 14 adults and 8 children. The space Villa 1 has 4 double bedrooms with bathrooms and a huge living room on the ground floor with sofa bed. Villa 2 has 2 double bedrooms and an apartment on the entire attic. In both villas, guests have at their disposal a fully equipped kitchen. The multi-storey library leads travelers of all ages in the world of books, along with a cup of thyme tea, the symbol of our house. A variety of dining options can be arranged at request prior to your stay. Each of the two houses are to be rented in full. The transfer from / to Bucharest airport can be arranged for a fee. The included facilities offered are: heated swimming pool, covered oven with integrated barbecue with sitting places by the fire, table tennis, basketball. From our vineyard, we offer wine tastings in our special cellar carved into the hill. We have used only eco-friendly materials to build these houses: wood, stone, timber, mud and wattles for the construction to breathe. Villas are designed to bring inside the most ozone-enriched air in Europe, the pride of Soveja region. Travelers to Casa Thymus can choose from an incredible variety of activities available depending on the season and weather: horseback riding, carriage rides or traditional horse-drawn sleigh rides, fast-paced mountain fishing parties, themed hikes to picking herbs, mushrooms, berries, bitter cherries. It is also possible to observe or photograph flora and fauna, bike trails and hiking on marked trails. For children we offer mini-trips on our own farm where they can see hens, horses, pigs and cows.
