Tucked away amongst the gums tree, a cockatoo and a kangaroo, Aussie wildlife at its best: wombats, goannas, koalas, emus all in the comfort of your private, cosy, self-contained cottage, set on a 130-acre farm. Large covered veranda with outdoor dining. Pet friendly. NO HIDDEN CLEANING FEES. Plenty of on-farm activities, only 1.5 hrs from Sydney, 1 hr from Wollongong, 1.5 hrs from Canberra. In the heart of the Southern Highlands, so you can explore Bowral, Berrima, Bundanoon. The space Once here you feel a sense of complete privacy and seclusion, but only 15 minutes from the town of Moss Vale. Very cosy, comfortable cottage, surrounded by native animals... kangaroos, wombats, koalas and emus. Abundant birdlife, Yellow Crested Cockatoos, Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos, to name a few. Two bedrooms on the ground floor, with lounge, kitchen, laundry, bathroom with WC and extra toilet. Kids love the upstairs loft, up the ladder. Four beds upstairs in the loft area, in two separate areas. The large, front covered veranda, looks out towards lush green, private grounds. A large table seats 8-10 for outdoor dining. Direct access to garden from veranda to the camp fire area. (Provided weather conditions and fire conditions allow, always check with owner prior to use in summer months), a notice will be provided in the house if there is a total fire ban. That means: turning off lights when you leave your room and/or leaving the house; turning off exhaust fan in bathroom; recycling of paper/plastic/glass (bins provided at side of front veranda); and a clear compost bin is provided on kitchen bench fruit, vegetables, this will be fed to the animals (no onions ). Guest access You are able to access the entire cottage during your stay, as well as the other areas on the farm, as well as visiting the animals (Millie the pig, the alpacas, angora goats, sheep, horses). Our private activity room is a lovely short walk (5 minutes) from the cottage. Or drive there in a minute. Other things to note There are many sight seeing opportunities in the Southern Highlands. If you require any suggestions please don't hesitate contacting us. We also have varying activities on farm as well.
