Dune Hideaway

A 3 bedroom house set on 1000m2 of sand dune. You'll get your feet sandy as soon as you step out the door! 2 of the 3 bedrooms have queensize beds, with the third containing 2 single bunks (4 beds), so the house sleeps up to 8. Just a few minutes walk to beautiful Aldinga Beach. Please note: Dec/Jan holidays have a minimum 7 day stay unless there is a gap to fill. The space The yard is all sand dune covered in native plants. Lots of bird life! The backyard has been preserved in it's natural state as a sand dune - a rare find in a residential area - and we proudly maintain it in its naturally sprawling way. The front yard provides privacy and a shady place to swing in a hammock, or sit on the deck enjoying the peace. Our home has a relaxed feel with slate-floors and air conditioning to keep you cool in Summer, and a cosy log fire to warm you up in Winter. *PLEASE NOTE: OUR COMBUSTION HEATER DOES NOT HAVE A GUARD AROUND IT (see photos) SO PLEASE CONSIDER WHETHER THAT IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR AGED CHILDREN. Guests need to bring their own linen (or can hire sheets/towels for a small additional fee). Pillows and quilts are provided. Guest access The entire home is accessible to guests Other things to note We have Free WiFi available and are dog-friendly. The tariff assumes BYO linen (towels, pillowcases and sheets) however you can hire linen at a cost of $20 per bed. Just liaise with me when you book about your preference. Quilts, quilt covers and pillows provided. 2 night minimum for most of the year, 3 night minimum in Autumn, Winter and Spring school holidays and public holiday weekends, and 4 night minimum over Easter. 7 night minimum stay in the Dec/Jan school holidays unless there is a gap to fill. Please note our combustion heater does not have a guard around it so consider whether that is an issue for your children.
