The space Our property is a freshly-renovated home with desert-chic, minimalist finishes and relaxed bohemian feel. The Mojave Stargazer provides privacy for those looking for a quiet getaway as it is situated on 5 acres overlooking a canyon. The property is also well-suited to families and groups, providing unique features including an outdoor shower, hammock, deck, BBQ patio, horseshoe ring, fire pit, a swing overlooking the canyon and an unparalleled view of the Mojave desert. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS The house includes two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, and one bedroom with a triple bunk bed, which is perfect for children, but also set-up comfortably for adults. Aside from the bedrooms, the home includes a very comfortable, top-quality queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. The beds and furnishings are all exceptional, from well-known designers and local artists, with great attention to detail. The house includes two newly-renovated, modern bathrooms, one en-suite with a shower and the other with a shower/tub. Moreover, the property includes an incredible outdoor shower, perfect to cool down after a day of hiking, and a truly unique opportunity to soak in the views. The house includes many amenities for small children, including a high chair and mini-crib with a luxury mattress, as well as many toys, a dollhouse, and childrens’ books. Kindly inform us in advance if children will be staying on the property. COMMON SPACES The home was designed to facilitate a relaxed getaway for our guests, taking advantage of the unique setting, and provides many luxury amenities, including: * A beautiful kitchen with brand-new, top-quality appliances, including a gas stove/oven, large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, blender, Breville toaster oven, Keurig Coffee Machine, Bodum French press, and moreover, is fully-stocked for cooking. * BBQ patio with lounge seating and propane grill * Large deck. * Outdoor shower overlooking the desert landscape * Large fire pit perfect for evening bonfires and stargazing - please note, firewood is not provided. * Horseshoe ring for some competitive fun * Swing set overlooking the Canyon, offering an ideal spot to watch the sunrise * Hammock * Private trail into the canyon * Off-road access from the property * Large driveway, accommodating multiple cars and/or RV * Washing machine and dryer In addition, the house includes keyless entry, Bluetooth speaker, a water heater, swamp cooler and central AC/Heater. Please note, there is no microwave and no television, promoting a relaxed, slower pace perfectly suited to the desert lifestyle. While this advanced technology ensures reliable and fast connectivity for most needs, please note that occasional service interruptions may occur due to the satellite-based nature of the connection. Committed to Your Safety: Open Air Homes takes sanitization seriously. We are following all CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting Guidelines to assure you have a safe stay during this time. We are fortunate to have some of the best cleaners in the business, with many of them going on their 8th year of employment at Open Air Homes. We are genuinely grateful for their service and have always paid our cleaning team a fair and liveable wage. Our cleaners always wear masks and gloves, and sanitize all surfaces right before departure. Your safety is our main priority. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park (plenty of space). There will be no one else on the property, other than the occasional gardener and spa serviceman, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance. All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team in the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one! Other things to note Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience. The Open Air ecosystem also includes both Property Management and Real Estate. Our experienced agents in Southern California at OpenAiRE Brokerage are specifically trained at helping our clients find the ideal vacation home that can be monetized when not in use. Our local, experienced agents are readily available to take you on a tour of homes to get to know the community. Please note, additional fees may be charged for ruined linens, late check-outs not previously approved by management, lost keys, or failure to comply with other house rules. By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement.You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement. Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed! There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check-out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out. All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
