Farm-stay, skiing & fishing getaway holiday house for small groups in the Snowy Mountains region. There are lots of native wildlife, kilometres of trails for bush walking & bike rides over 100 hectares. It is close to Thredbo, Perisher & Lake Jindabyne. Tovr provides lodge style accommodation with a large lounge/dining room, a well equipped kitchen with pantry, & a separate laundry/drying room. It has a large covered veranda with 180 degree panoramic views of the countryside. The space Tovr covers an area of 100 hectares of native bushland. Kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, emus, deer, & alpacas, all roam the property, & come within 50 metres of the house. The wallabies aren't shy at all, & come in & eat our lawn daily. The house is 1200 metres above sea level, & has lovely crisp evenings all year round, ideal for sitting on the deck or in front of the log fire with a relaxing drink. Guest access Guests are free to roam the entire property, if they are fit enough for some of the terrain. There is a deep river gorge at the back of the property with a vertical drop of about 100 metres, & if you venture there, it will test your thighs & calves. It is about 1.5 km from the house, so a good energetic morning stroll away. Other things to note As the property is mostly native bushland it is designated as a bush fire prone zone. Accordingly, no fires should be lit in the open at any time of year. The house does have a large safety clearing around it, but guests should leave the property if there is a bushfire nearby, & only return when it is safe to do so. Registration Details PID-STRA-7119
