Private holiday home in medieval village in the Lucca hills, Tuscany. With a private pool and spectacular views through the valley. The house is completely private, nothing to share with anyone else, it's all yours. Pisa, Lucca Florence and Siena are within driving distance, as well as the sea and Cinque Terre. The house is in the Apuan Alps for great hiking, a perfect combination between nature and culture. The house has 1 bathroom and stairs are on the outside of the house, see the pictures. The space Season 2026: pool open from 29th of March till 16th of November or later on request. 'Brama Sole' was built in several phases. The oldest part was built around 1650 (the house next door is dated 1638). The house used to be a small farm; downstairs were the stables for some goats, and upstairs was the living quarters. From the 1960s onwards, the house was no longer used and served only as storage. In 2007, it came up for sale, and we bought it. The house is perfectly situated on a hill with spectacular views from the garden and all rooms. The sun shines on the garden side all day. The house offers a lot of privacy; it is the last house in the village. We also bought the house next door and it is not used. It is set back from the road, so cars cannot be heard. Parking is free at the entrance to the village; from there, it is a 50-meter walk to the house. There are some stairs, so the house is not suitable for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility. Because the house is very wide and all the rooms are adjacent, there wasn't enough room for an internal staircase. Outside staircases are located on both sides of the house. These stairs provide access to the bathroom and the bedrooms. Two bedrooms have direct access to the bathroom. The third bedroom has its own entrance but no direct access to the bathroom. The interior is stylish and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, gas stove, microwave, freezer and Nespresso. The bathroom has double sinks, a bathtub, and a separate shower. Two bedrooms have single beds (90x200) that can be pushed together, while the third bedroom has a large double bed (160x200). The living room has a TV with streaming capabilities and a DVD player (no cable or satellite TV). The house has central heating and a washing machine. The garden is approximately 400 m² and offers fantastic views of the valley, villages, and other mountains in the distance. The private pool is 7.5 x 3.6 meters and 1.3 meters deep. A wooden terrace with sun loungers surrounds the pool, perfect for soaking up the sun. A large walnut tree provides shade on hot days. Another shady spot is the lounge area, where you'll also find a barbecue. Guest access Guests have acces to the whole house, garden and private pool. The house is private independent, you don't share anything with anyone else. Other things to note During June, July, August, and September, we only rent full weeks, running from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are possible during other months. The cleaning fee includes beds made upon arrival, towels for the bathroom and pool, and house cleaning after departure. The bedrooms and bathroom are accessible via one of the two external staircases. The house has one bathroom, with the toilet located in the bathroom.
