Sleeping 12 - The award-winning Hayloft is particularly suited to a family gathering and multi generational groups. Set in a courtyard of other cottages on an upland sheep farm in the heart of The Peak District, you'll feel miles from anywhere, but you're really close to everywhere. The recently converted barns offer luxury modern accommodation with the character and charm of ancient farm buildings. We do not accept dogs in the Hayloft. The space A really stunning large open plan living space is idea for gatherings of family or friends. The kitchen having a large central Island with bar stools, is perfect for mingling whilst preparing food, and the two fridges and 2 dishwashers makes catering for large numbers so much easier. The large dining table enjoys relaxing Italian leather chairs, while the living area has the biggest sofa you've every seen, gathered around a central log-burner, so you can chat the evening away around the fire. A smart TV is available with Free-sat channels, and access to iplayer and Netfix if you have your own passcode. Having 6 double bedrooms; 2 on ground floor and stairs leading to large landing and 4 further bedrooms. One bathroom is on the ground floor and 2 further shower rooms on first floor. Exposed beams and feature stone walls throughout. Outside you have your own private seating area with picnic benches and a BBQ. Guest access In addition to your own private space, we have a games-room with table tennis and pool tables, along with a selection of board games, children's toys, and local information. Within the games-room, there is a boot room for drying wet walking gear, along with a mini farm shop selling our own farm produced meats and other locally produced artisan products. Around the farm are various communal seating areas to make the most of the views and the environment, including a fire pit in the woods, and sunset corner where, as the name suggests, you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine in the summer. In the summer months we provide a selection of outdoor games so you can kick a ball around with the kids, or a game of rounders in one of the fields. Other things to note BBQ fuel, additional logs, and farm produced meats can be purchased from us, so everything is here if you fancy cooking al fresco. We can arrange private dining experiences to cater for all dietary needs - perfect for that special occasion. We can also recommend locally sourced products that can be delivered to your door. Our setting is one of peace and tranquility, so we welcome all guests who wish to share our amazing and very special place. We are not a party venue, so if you're looking for a riotous weekend, please look elsewhere.
