This is a French apartment inside a bungalow 5 blocks from the water. Mom taught art and collected antiques. It's a spacious, well lit, cheerful apartment in a safe neighborhood furnished with French antiques. It's within a mile and a half from Spohn, Driscoll, and Doctors' Regional Hospitals. The space Our space is run by two veterans and was built by our grandfather -- the third Commandant of the CC Yacht Club. Hence, its nearness to the water. It's full of art and antiques (no IKEA!!). Guest access Although part of a house, the large guest suite is self contained. There's a bedroom with a TV, a living / dining room with kitchenette and a second TV, a large cedar closet, and a vintage-tiled full bathroom. The guest/s have their own off-street parking spot, their own entrance, and their own privacy-fenced yard with chairs and drinks table, and an outdoor shower. Other things to note An HEB (TX grocery store chain) is close by on Alameda. Price's Chef and Hester's are nearby restaurants well-loved by locals. In the summer, make sure and catch free band concerts Sun nights at the band shell.
