Welcome to our bright and spacious 750+ sq. ft. apartment, where you’ll enjoy plenty of natural light and a private entrance—all just 20 minutes from Anchorage. My wife and I are delighted to host you in this peaceful retreat that provides the perfect balance of a serene getaway and easy access to city amenities. Make yourself at home and enjoy having the entire space to yourself! The space Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the cozy bedroom, complete with a queen bed and ample closet space to help you feel at home. For added convenience—especially on longer visits—the apartment includes a dedicated laundry room. Cook up a storm in the fully stocked kitchen, which seamlessly flows from bar seating into the living room, making it a great space to relax and mingle. Step out onto the small deck for a moment of tranquility: sip your morning coffee with stunning mountain views in the summer, or keep an eye out for the northern lights in the winter. From May until the first snowfall, fire up the propane grill (provided with your stay) and savor an outdoor meal against a beautiful Alaskan backdrop. Guest access There is a driveway right next to the stair entrance to the apartment. There will be a sign that says 'Guest Parking.' We have a security light and light at the door. In winter months the stairs can be slippery, so please use caution. The door has a keyless entry to lock and unlock with an access code. Other things to note To make the most of your Alaskan adventure, we highly recommend renting a car in advance. Distances here can be significant, and with a rental car shortage in Alaska, it’s best to secure your vehicle early. We’d love to share our favorite local spots, so feel free to reach out for recommendations! Our apartment is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. You’ll find dishwasher and laundry supplies, basic cleaning items, a fully equipped kitchen (complete with seasonings, spices, coffee, and teas), and spare toothbrushes/toothpaste plus shower essentials in the bathroom. If anything runs out, just let us know and we’ll happily restock. Lastly, remember that Alaska is home to diverse wildlife—always stay aware of your surroundings, and enjoy your time in this incredible place!
