Relax and experience the truest atmosphere of Lake Como The space Bellagio Retreat is a charming apartment in Limonta, a quite village 5,5 km from Bellagio. It is a 2 floor apartment situated on the second and last floor of a previous private villa converted into apartments. It is 3 minutes walking from the beach and ferry dock where the ferry going to Bellagio, Varenna and Lecco stops. Such transfer allows visiting Bellagio without the hassle of parking searching. It has 2 double bedrooms (1 double,1 king) with AC and 2 full baths. On the main floor: living area with kitchen, double bedroom , bath w/tub& shower, balcony overlooking the stunning Villa Pozzi garden with lake view, balcony w/village view. In the attic w/ skylights & lake view: king size bed, bath w/shower , TV/office area with sofa bed. Private parking & condominium garden inside property. It has been just remodeled in 2020. The two bedrooms have air conditioning, the balcony has a large sun curtain, the kitchen is equipped with tools, pans, pots, coffe machine, boiler, toaster, dish washer, microwave oven, washing machine, fridge. The house is equipped with combustible gas detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher. It is reccomanded to arrive by CAR. Behind Limonta there is a mountain where there are nice paths to walk to Bellagio In Limonta there are no services like restaurants, groceries and pharmacy for which you have to go to Bellagio (8 minutes drive) or to Vassena (5 minutes drive) Guest access To enter the property pass the gate and drive downhill to the parking lot, following the instructions of the lady in charge of check in. Using the 2 secondary gates you can walk to the beach, Limonta Pier and beach just in few minutes. If you do not drive you can take the bus or the ferry Other things to note Tourist Tax to be paid cash at arrival (from 14 years old) : 2€/day/person till max of 7 days. If you really want to enjoy your holidays have a look at the boat tours that I personally organize since 2016 with Bellagio Sailing. Most people prefer to arrive by car and I discourage not to do it. Ferries, buses and free shuttle are available but only few times per day and stop at 7 PM. The only public transportations to reach it is by bus departing in front of Lecco train station. You can buy tickets at the newspaper stand inside the train station or next to the bus stop The other way is by public boat departing from Lecco lakefront.
