It’s the perfect hideaway spot to experience the best Oban and the surrounding area has to offer with the bus, train, ferry terminals and even a seal spotting tour all a short walk away. Surrounded by local businesses, pubs, restaurants and only a stone’s throw away from the harbour, it’s perfect for those who want to explore our seaside town. With partial sea views to the rear looking down towards the Sound of Mull and a view of the famous McCaig’s tower from the living room which is beautifully illuminated at night. So come on in, and pop your feet up and make yourself at home in the Heart of George Street. Guest access We do not have any onsite parking however there are many public car parking spaces in the centre of Oban. Parking charges apply between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Saturday and 1.00pm to 5.00pm on Sunday. The closest car park is situated on Oban’s North Pier carpark which is free between 6pm untill 9am. Quietly nestled above Oban’s George street it provides you with the best of both worlds. Close proximity to all amenities yet peace and tranquillity for some well earned “down time”. There’s the hollow mountain Cruachan power dam where you can travel deep under the mountain in a guided tour. Easdale the slate quarry and fishing community is always worth a trip. You will never be stuck for activities; There’s a cinema, swimming pool, kayaking, paddle boarding, coasting, hiking, falconry, even a dive centre! So come away in you are always welcome in Oban.
