Cozy, modern 1-bedroom with backyard ocean view!

First-floor unit (430 sq ft) with private entrance has views of nature & access to a peaceful backyard—steps from an awe-inspiring view of the Pacific Ocean. This one-of-a-kind, tranquil getaway offers the best of the Bay Area at your fingertips! Walk to hiking trails, drive 5-min. to the beach, & 20-min. to San Francisco or SFO airport. We want to do everything we possibly can to ensure you have a great experience staying with us, so it's important that you understand the setup: The private entrance guest suite is located downstairs in our 2-story home. My partner and I live upstairs and we both work from home. We are in our 50s with 3 cats, no kids. See profile for more on us. We don't wear shoes in the house and don't party. And sorry folks, no parties allowed in the unit. We have insulated the unit but this is shared living so you will hear some noise transfer. Your bedroom is below our kitchen and your living room is below our living room (and Charlene works in there--my office is on the other side of the house). The bedroom is on the street side. It has a double-paned window but you can hear cars (most through traffic during commute hours). Our bedroom is also on the street side but on second floor on other side of the house. No pets allowed. No kids. We unfortunately cannot accommodate children because the unit and the backyard are not set up for them due to sharp edges, no childproof cabinets, unfenced hillside, ceramics, etc. Have questions? Because we are up a big hill and there is very limited transit options, you will need a vehicle to fully enjoy all the amenities of the area. Other things to note Monday nights: Expect some extra noise on Tuesday morning due to trucks picking up the recycling/compost/garbage. On the plus side, we have recycling and compost bins in the unit to keep waste down. :)
