Backyard oasis and a darling mid-century 3BR/1BA home located in Santa Rosa, California, Sonoma County. A central location to wineries, hikes, Hwy 12, and a reasonable drive to the coast (Bodega Bay and Jenner). Near Howarth Park/Spring Lake. Majestic trees, a meandering stone pathway, seasonal flower blooms, and fern "grottos" create a special place. Relax in the hot tub, have coffee and breakfast in the kitchen nook, and enjoy the backyard. You may see an owl in the trees. The space Living room with exposed beam ceiling opens up to the large deck and backyard that is private and an oasis. Kitchen is updated, has a gas stove and oven, and an eat-in kitchen nook. The home has a "dollhouse" feel. Bedroom #1 (Master) has a queen-sized wood sleigh bed. A large Hollywood Juniper tree outside the front window provides privacy. Bedroom #2 (Garden Room) has a queen-sized day bed and French doors to the backyard, space for working, and a changing table/dresser. Bedroom #3 (Twins Room) has two twin beds and a double reading light that offers a quiet and cozy space with a garden view. House has central heat and AC with vents to living room, hallway, all bedrooms, and bathroom. Enjoy meals on the back deck. An easy-to-use natural gas grill provides easy outdoor cooking opportunities. The hot tub is nestled in the backyard among trees. For one-night stays, I’ll request that you send a copy of your ID prior to check in. Sorry, no pets. Guest access Driveway (1 car) and garage (1 car) are available for parking. Street parking is easily available along the side of the house. Other things to note Gardener stops by Thursday afternoons. Hot tub check takes place Tuesdays. Please observe max overnight guest limit of 6 and day visitors to 3. No parties or events and no amplified sound (speakers) outside. City of Santa Rosa Permit SVR21-173. Failure to meet house rules will require guests to vacate immediately, without a refund, and an assessed fee starting at $500. See other house rules in the listing. Please check out on time so that my cleaners can stay on their schedule. Three monitoring cameras that capture video and sound are located: 1) front porch/front yard, 2) driveway, and 3) inside the garage. These are used to confirm guest occupancy if needed.
