Welcome to our sweet little retreat! Our historic home used to be a school, then a church, and now it's a special little retreat! We created a beautiful space that's great for wedding weekends, family reunions, cedar point trips, and any kind of friends and family get together. We are very close to Oberlin College & Valley of the Eagle Country club making it the perfect home for family gatherings coming in to celebrate! Over 50+ happy families loved their stay with us, be our next guest! The primary room has a king size bed, faux fireplace, beautiful large mirror, and also a daybed that can pull out for more bed space. Also has a large closet with hangers, a fan, and extra comforters. The 2nd room is perfect for those who love to sleep in the dark! Nice dark and cozy when the lights are off. Queen bed and a small closet with hangers and a fan with remote. The 3rd room also has a queen bed and medium size closet with hangers and a small storage unit for clothes. Beautifully updated and refinished bathroom with brand new tiled shower and double vanity. Spacious living room perfect for hanging out! Enjoy the sunrise beyond the field with a cup of coffee on our beautiful patio or sit in comfort with a glass of wine for sunset! In front of our garage is plenty of parking! You can fit 2 rows of 3 cars across and we also have parking for 5 cars on the side of the house on the gravel path. Our home feels like it's out in the country being surrounded by so much farm land, but is just a quick 8-10 minute drive to anything you could need! Our guests can call or text me anytime, and if I am busy photographing a wedding they can also call our house assistant who lives 10 minutes away and will always be available! Our sweet little retreat is surrounded by a large field which makes it feel very private. We have a wonderful yard and beautiful covered patio. We are only 8 minutes to downtown Elyria, close to restaurants, wineries, and parks! There is a walking and bike path not far from our home. We offer parking for up to 10 cars if needed and Uber and Lift are great options to get around as well! We have a lovely covered patio set up for your comfort and can provide a fire pit, cornhole boards, and hammock if you wish! Please note - we leave on a busy intersection with a high MPH limit. If you are bringing children please ensure they are always in the backyard/patio area for their safety. This is another reason why pets are not allowed too, we simply can't risk it. Please be careful when backing out of the parking pad as cars can go zipping by quickly. Please use caution and be safe at all times. Thank you!
