The space GREAT OUTDOORS LOCATION Bobcat Lodge is tucked away on six acres in the mountain community of Black Forest. Situated among towering pine trees and prairie grasses, Black Forest is only a 25-minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs and about an hour away from Denver. Hiking and biking trails are a stone’s throw away, and there is much more to discover. Outdoor and cultural adventures include the other-worldly Garden of the Gods park, U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, Cave of the Winds Mountain Park and the iconic Pikes Peak (there is a new visitor center at the summit). Explore the region’s Old West heritage by panning for gold at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry or enjoying a chuckwagon dinner and western stage show at the historic Flying W Ranch. 3 YARDS WITH VIEWS & AMENITIES A view of Pikes Peak from the front and side yards will stir your spirit – and stay with you long after you leave. Over in the backyard, relax on the covered deck and lounge in the luxury hot tub. Or roast s’mores and tell stories around the fire pit, all beneath the Colorado stars. The yard is fenced for your privacy and also offers a picnic table, play set for kids and lawn games – croquet, corn hole and life-sized Jenga. As if all this isn’t enough, you can also shoot some hoops in the driveway. LODGE-STYLE LIVING, KITCHEN & DINING AREAS The open living, kitchen and dining areas have lodge vibes at every turn. The living room is a cozy space with a vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, handsome leather furniture and a grand stone fireplace. A panoramic window wall extends to the chef’s kitchen and dining area where you can cook up a feast and play board games. It’s worth noting that the kitchen is a real star: It has granite countertops, two islands, double ovens, upgraded appliances and bar seating. FUN REC ROOM A rec room on the downstairs floor is the undisputed hub of fun. A cozy den with a fireplace is joined by table games and a spacious kitchenette. Here, you can team up for billiards or shuffleboard. Or cue up Netflix on the smart TV. Sliding doors also give you easy access to the backyard. 7 BEDROOMS Seven bedrooms with 18 beds have your whole group covered: The lodge sleeps more than 25 guests with the addition of a few air mattresses. Three bedrooms on the main level and four bedrooms downstairs offer mountain decor ranging from wooden beds to nature-themed artwork. The sliding wood barn door in one room and tree stump wall art in another are guest favorites. For your privacy, a fence fully encloses the backyard. You can access Bobcat Lodge anytime with our secure, keyless entry. Other things to note CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check-in is anytime after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Based on availability, you can check in any time earlier in the day for a $150 fee. As we may be able to accommodate a late check-out if no guests are arriving the same day, please check with us if needed. WELCOME GUIDEBOOK You will receive a digital welcome guidebook a few days before your arrival that contains all the house information you will need. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE The main level of Bobcat Lodge is handicap accessible, including a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. ADDITIONAL GUESTS There is a $15 fee per person/night for any guests above 10. This helps cover additional wear and tear on the home, higher utility bills, extra paper products and more. Please contact us if your guest count is over 16 as we will add that to the back of the reservation. QUIET HOURS Thank you for observing quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. This ensures the peace of the neighborhood and our standing as courteous neighbors. SMOKING To keep Bobcat Lodge fresh and clean for all, smoking is not permitted inside. If smoke is detected, there will be a $300 fee for proper deep cleaning and odor removal. PARTIES & EVENTS Gatherings with your group are great, but parties and events are not permitted. Any evidence of such will result in a $500 fee and an immediate termination of your booking.
