This sweet rustic cabin is in the middle of the Sequoia Nat'l Forest ( the Sequoia Nat'l Park is 2-3 hrs away) and is specifically located in the Alta Sierra Community. Come enjoy the smell of the huge trees & the peacefulness of this environment! Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids) & we welcome your family dog (* $25 pet fee may be applied). Cozy and comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids. The space Cozy, rustic, woodsy dog friendly space with a lovely wood burning stove inside to gather around. Outside there is a relaxing deck /w a picnic table and coal fired BBQ alongside a lovely seasonal spring (during high rain seasons). Cell phone reception is spotty & there is no WIFI so this is a perfect place to get away and disconnect! ****COVID precautions: We block out reservations for 1 day before and after each reservation. Our cabin is cleaned, sanitized and disinfected after each stay. We also have self check in's via lockboxes. Guest access Once reservation is confirmed you will receive a code to access the lock box entry device. Other things to note Parking is restricted to 2 vehicles only. When Mother Nature graces this area with snow, chains for your tires & /4 wheel drive are necessary. Please, no outside fires other than BBQing food on the grill using the charcoal you bring. (It gets very dry up there in the summer and we want to protect our beautiful forest area.) Please bring your own wood, paper etc. for an indoor fire. Dogs must be on leashes when outside per community rules. When mapping directions, enter Wofford Heights as your destination vs. Alta Sierra. Starter sets of TP, paper towels, trash bags, soap and sponges are supplied. Small cabin/ small water heater which allows for short showers with reheat wait time in between guests.
