October Sky Mountain Cabin w/ Hot tub and fire pit

Welcome to October Sky! Situated on 2 acres, in the Nantahala National Forest, October Sky is the perfect getaway to disconnect and take in the breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. As soon as you pull into the gravel driveway are greeted by the luxurious cabin and the spectacular views beyond. Amenities include a hot tub, fire pit, pool table, darts, foosball & more. Nantahala Outdoor Center, whitewater rafting, hiking & biking are just a short drive away. The space Exterior: Wide enough for most vehicles the gravel parking area surrounding the cabin makes entering easy. As you approach the cabin you will see that the front porch is just one step up from the gravel drive allowing you to bring your bags in with ease. I have a security camera overlooking the driveway to ensure safety. When you arrive at the front door you are welcomed by two chairs, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening in or enjoying the view. On the front lawn you will notice the fire pit – an ideal spot for star gazing over the mountain tops or cozying up with your favorite hot beverage in the colder months. At the far end of the front porch sits the best way to relax and unwind: the outdoor hot tub. Welcome home. Entry-level: Upon entering the foyer you enter the living room which features leather sofas, a gas fireplace, and a smart tv. Past the living room, you enter the kitchen with all appliances, a coffee maker and a dishwasher to make clean-up a breeze. The door to the left of the kitchen leads to the master bedroom. Natural wood tones and picturesque mountain views surround king size bed. The master bedroom has a full private bath and gas fireplace. The cabin also features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the cabin with light, with outward-facing scenic views of the mountains and beyond. Loft: The spiral staircase in the living room beckons you upstairs to the loft and game area. When you arrive on the landing you will see a foosball table and to the right a futon with a bunk bed combo perfect for kids and adults alike. The game room continues to the left of the stairs where you will find a regulation-sized pool table and dartboard. A large sofa offers seating to watch a competitive game of pool or relax and admire the view. To the right of the pool table, you will find an additional full-sized bathroom. Second level deck: The deck features two additional Adirondack chairs, ideal for a romantic getaway, or hanging out with friends and family. Guest access Guests will have undisturbed access to the entire home. This includes the driveway, fire pit, hot tub, front and second level decks. Other things to note Accessibility - October Sky is located on a well-maintained mountain road and is easily accessible. The road is mostly paved with hard-packed gravel sections. Additionally, there are switchbacks and steep incline sections. Firewood is not provided on the property. There is Wi-Fi however it is satellite internet so it can be slow and unreliable, there is no cell service. Making this a complete and peaceful getaway.
