Due to the scope of the project and variable factors, we are not sure the stage we will be in at the time of your booking if you decide to move forward. Construction will not occur during the time of any stays and it will not affect the use of any of the amenities aside from a section of the back yard. Enjoy refreshing mornings with mesmerizing desert views and fauna. We are just 15 minutes from the main entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Black Rock Campground and hiking trail is also only 5 minutes away and takes you to an alternate entrance to JTNP without park pass needed. We are approximately 2.5 hours from Los Angeles (LAX Airport), 45 minutes from Palm Springs Airport (PSP) and the Low Desert’s Coachella Valley (including the infamous cities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, and Coachella). Our villa is located at a higher elevation and enjoy's more moderate temperatures compared to neighboring desert climate. - Cooler months Dec - Feb: mid 30s-60s°F - Warmer months Jun - Aug: mid 60s-90s°F Also, we live symbiotically with nature here at Gaia Villa - where wildlife and plant life are an integral part of the experience when staying here. Please enjoy the natural surroundings while also being respectful of the peaceful setting as sound can travel far in the desert. We have a long private driveway. Please pull all the way up and park on the large concrete driveway. Rideshare services (such as Uber and Lyft) are available and taxi services but traveling with your own vehicle is recommended. IMPORTANT NOTES AND TERMS: - OCCUPANCY POLICY: We can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests. Infants 12 months and under do not count towards the guest occupancy count. Extra occupants/visitors beyond the reported guest count at the time of booking require pre-approval (including daytime guests). Fees and terms may apply for additional guests. Daytime guests are permitted during the hours of 7am-9pm with pre-approval. ** Renter may be charged a fee of $250 per person per day/night for any unauthorized guests beyond the approved guest count. Please contact us to inquire. - Renter of record must be on-site the day of check-in and stay for the duration of the booking. A manager will check the Renter's government-issued photo ID in person on the day of check-in. Third party bookings (where the Renter is not going to be present) are not allowed without pre-approval. - NOISE POLICY: City's Noise Ordinance 10pm-7am. Please observe quiet hours and kindly enjoy gatherings and activities indoors during those hours. During the day, outdoor sound should be kept at reasonable levels and speakers or instruments are not permitted outdoors. ** Continued violation of the Noise policy is subject to hefty fines and eviction without refund.
