Description

Welcome to Tobermory Shores, the perfect waterfront destination for families and mature older adults seeking peace and relaxation while exploring the majestic Northern Bruce Peninsula. Located at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula along the Niagara Escarpment, Tobermory Shores offers breathtaking views of the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay and Flowerpot Island and is only a 3-minute drive to downtown Tobermory, 15 minutes to Bruce Peninsula National Park and the world-famous Grotto. The space **Short-Term Accommodation Permit number: NBP-2021-432 Follow us on social media for cancellation announcements. Clean, sleek surfaces and warm walnut wood accents create a crisp modern aesthetic while walls of windows immerse you into the waterfront setting. The neutral palette and rustic contemporary decor give it a relaxed, sophisticated appeal. The master bedroom with a king-sized bed is a private indulgence that includes spa-style en suite bathroom. The three other rooms include a queen-sized bed. The sizeable main level consisting of a gourmet kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace is ideal for gathering with friends and family and can comfortably serve 8 people while the games room in the garage offers guests the perfect entertainment spot. With an expansive open deck and BBQ, the exterior space is ideal for outdoor gatherings. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire home and bunkie excluding the crawlspace and the shed located beside the house. Early check-in and extended check-out times may be available between October and April, providing we do not have other guests checking in or out within 24 hours of your arrival or departure. Mid-November to End of April: Most patio furniture is in storage and unavailable to guests during this time. Access to the BBQ is available, but we cannot guarantee propane will be available. We also do not maintain snow removal or ice on the deck, so guests accessing the BBQ or deck during the winter do so at their own risk. The Bunkie is also unavailable during this time as it is used to store the outdoor furniture. Other things to note Providing safe, clean and sanitized environments for our guests and team members is always a priority for us. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and want you to feel at ease when you visit our property. We follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Here are a few highlights: - Our cleaners sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob - We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and our cleaners wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination - Our cleaners refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room - We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay - We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines Cooling: Because of its location and proximity to the water, temperatures within the home are generally comfortable during the summer. Opening windows, turning on the fans provided in each room, and the ceiling fan located in the upstairs stairwell will help circulate the breeze coming off the lake and cool down the house, eliminating the need for air conditioning on most days throughout the summer. However, for those odd days when temperatures and humidity become uncomfortable, we have Central Air Conditioning available for guests. If used, we kindly request that you keep all doors and windows closed while the AC is running. Even though this is a waterfront property, access to the water is limited and should only be done cautiously. If guests choose to navigate the rocky shoreline to gain access to the lake, they are doing so at their own risk.
