Welcome to THE GABLES AT GREEN LAKE, a sprawling, quiet lake house just 13 miles from Taylors Falls & 30 miles from the Twin Cities. Just south of downtown Chisago, THE GABLES is ideal for gatherings of family or friends. We invite you to enjoy our private beach & dock, kayaks, lily pad, vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces, a master-suite jacuzzi bathtub, high-speed Wifi, & a 7-person Jacuzzi Hot Tub! Come to retreat, ski, hike, fish, swim, shop, paddle, bike, rest, race, snow shoe, & wine taste. The space An upscale rambler, THE GABLES has three bedrooms on its main floor, including the master suite, and two bathrooms along with the kitchen, living room, dining room, and sun porch. The basement offers an additional living room, another full bath, and a fourth bedroom. Each bedroom is equipped with designated desk space for remote work, two of which convert from sitting desks to standing desk. The three LINKSYS router extensions ensure that the high-quality Wifi reaches throughout the house. The basement bedroom offers guest an extra monitor for use during their stay. The public boat launch for Green Lake is less than 0.25 miles down the street from our home, and guests are encouraged to bring their own boats for fishing and recreation; guests may park their boats along our private dock. We'd love you to cozy up by the fireplaces in both upstairs and downstairs living rooms. Two thermostats controls the two heat zones of the house, the bathrooms sport heated floors, and yes, the kitchen nook has heated seats. Guests may also make use of the three-car, heated garage during their stay. The dining room table seats 6 and expands to seat 8 and the breakfast nook seats another 5. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, crockpot, blender, toaster, as well as pots, pans, knives, and baking gear. Our wet bar will ensure that you are able to enjoy local wine you fall in love with at Wine Haven and locally brewed beer you bring home from the Uncommon Loon. In winter, we encourage guests to bring their cross country skis to ski right on the lake or *relax in our brand new outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub!* In the summer, we offer guests a paddle board and ten U.S. coast guard approved life vests. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property for their stay, including the three-car garage and the property’s five patios/porches and private beach front.
