This classic Sea Ranch home was recently remodeled by famed architect Obie Bowman, blending unique design with modern comfort. The Space Step inside this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home and be greeted by panoramic ocean views from the main living area. Designed to comfortably sleep six guests, the house offers a serene, stylish home base for your coastal adventures. * Bedrooms: Features three tranquil bedrooms with one King bed and two Queen beds, complete with fresh linens and extra blankets for your comfort. The principal bedroom opens to the courtyard with a hot tub. * Bathrooms: Unwind in two spa-like bathrooms, one with a bathtub/shower combo and another with a luxurious Roman tub and shower. * Living & Entertainment: The open-plan living space connects seamlessly to a well-equipped kitchen. Relax by the gas fireplace, enjoy the 65" HDTV with premium streaming services, or challenge someone to a match on the ping pong table in the game room. * Work & Connect: A dedicated workspace, strong 920 Mbps WiFi, and a wireless printer make this an ideal spot for remote work. * Gourmet Kitchen: The kitchen is a chef's delight, fully equipped with a gas stove, convection oven, multiple coffee makers (drip, espresso, French press), an Instapot, and all the cookware you need to prepare delicious meals. * Garage: When not used for parking your car out of the elements, the space includes stored lounge chairs, basketball and air pump, outdoor Connect-4 game, child/pet gate, yoga mat, kick boards, pickleball paddles and balls, high chair, and folding ping pong table with rackets and balls. Guest Access You will have private access to the entire home, including the beautifully landscaped and fully fenced private courtyard, where you can soak in the hot tub. Your access also includes one garage space equipped with 120v & 240v plugs for EV charging (please bring your own cord). As our guest, you can also enjoy the shared Sea Ranch community amenities, including Sea Ranch Golf Links, outdoor pools and tennis/pickleball courts. Visitor and parking passes are required and will be provided. The Neighborhood Abalone Bay is a true waterfront property with private beach access, allowing you to step out and explore the tide pools and coastline. The Sea Ranch community offers 50 miles of natural trails winding from the ocean bluffs, through grassy meadows, and into majestic redwood forests. Guests also have access to three recreation centers, each with a pool, tennis courts, and saunas. This property is immersed in a vibrant coastal environment. You may encounter local wildlife, including deer, raccoons, and various birds. Please be aware that you are in a natural setting. Getting Around Parking is available for one vehicle in the garage, with an additional uncovered carport. The community is best explored on foot via the extensive trail network, but a car is recommended for visiting nearby towns and attractions. House Rules To ensure a wonderful stay for you and a peaceful environment for our neighbors, we ask that you observe the following rules: * The primary guest must be at least 25 years of age and be present for the entire stay. * Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to 6 persons, including infants and children. * No house parties, events, or third-party bookings (including Airbnb Experiences). * No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on the property. * Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. * A maximum of two dogs is welcome. A pet fee of $80 for one dog or $160 for two will be added. Please pick up after your pets to avoid a $100 fine. * Please respect HOA rules, including light restrictions and a ban on drones. Important Information * Booking Requirement: Your booking is finalized upon signing our rental agreement and providing a copy of your valid photo ID within 48 hours. A $500 security hold on a credit card is required prior to arrival. * Safety First: The property is located on an ocean bluff with an unfenced 30-foot drop to the rocks below. Please supervise children at all times, especially near the cliffs and ocean. Sneaker waves can be dangerous. * Construction Notice: A new home is under construction next door (expected completion Feb. 2026). Potential for construction noise may exist during daytime hours. * No Air Conditioning: This home does not have central A/C. We provide ventilation fans to supplement the natural sea breezes that keep the house cool and comfortable. * Property Systems: The house operates on a septic system; please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. A full-house generator ensures you have power during any outages (generator does not heat the hot tub). * Security: For your safety and to ensure adherence to policies, security cameras are installed on the exterior of the property, monitoring the driveway and entryways only. * Check-in/Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We are an inclusive host and welcome all. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance for your peace of mind. There is no fence along the 40' high cliffs that drop to rocks and the ocean below. The yard gates do not lock. Adults must take extra precautions to monitor children for their safety NEVER turn your back on the ocean. Note that sneaker waves can wash away large adults as well as small children from the coast. DANGEROUS ANIMALS You are hereby notified that we have dangerous, potentially fear-provoking, and non-threatening creatures on the property. This property is located in the coastal intertidal zone surrounded by native grass meadows and forested areas. It is possible, but not likely, to see reptiles (e.g., snakes, lizards), amphibians (e.g., frogs, salamanders), vermin (e.g., mice, voles), birds of prey and turkeys, raccoons, feral cats, and other large wild animals, including mountain lions and bears. You may also encounter all kinds of bugs, including, but not limited to, ants, bees, potato bugs, roaches, etc., on the property. Occasionally, horse owners will ride on the trails. Sea Ranch uses sheep and goats to manage and maintain fire-safe our meadow grasses. They may, on occasion, escape from their pens. They also travel by the local roads when moving to new sections of the meadows. We provide monthly pest control services to address these creatures. If you come across any of them, please contact us immediately. We will take timely action to address anything you may discover, both inside your space and on our property. Many of these creatures are free-roaming. We do not control anything that occurs on neighboring city, community, or HOA properties and cannot be held liable for their maintenance. The code to the door expires at 11 AM on the day of check-out, as per the contract. Owner is available by phone if further instruction or support is needed. SECURITY DEPOSIT of $500 is required, collected separately prior to arrival. Guests are expected to maintain the home and courtyard in good, operable, and generally clean condition. Your dog's excrement must be picked up, or a $100 fine will be charged from your security deposit or damage insurance. The guest is to maintain the house, garage, and outdoor spaces, including the barbecue. Guest is responsible for any damages or breakage to the Unit by anyone and/or pets allowed to enter the Unit during the rental period. Dogs and Assistance animals are always allowed.
