Peaceful & beautiful views. Less than 2 miles from downtown. Your own private walking path. Escape from stress to this cozy cabin on 3.1 acres. A country setting with fruit trees and wild berries. Wake up to deer just outside your door. Visit downtown Pt. Pleasant where you’ll find multiple shops, restaurants and the Mothman Statue. There’s also Tu Endie Wei State Park and a river walk with hand painted murals along the flood wall. A PERFECT place for a Mothman enthusiast!! The space This log cabin sits on 3.1 acres surrounded by rolling hills and an abundance of wildlife. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill in the back yard. There are apple trees, pear trees, wild mushrooms and blackberries for you to enjoy picking while in bloom. There is a large living room with a sectional sleeping sofa, large kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bathroom and covered back deck. There is a private walking path on the property that leads to a small pond. I provide food for you to fill up the deer and bird feeders. The cabin and the town of Point Pleasant is featured in Sherri Brake's Podcast "Mothman & More" Season 2/Episode 1. Sherri will be in Point Pleasant several times in 2025 doing the "Haunted History Tours." The cabin was featured in the TV Series “Murder in the Heartlands” Season 5 Episode 12 “Field of Bad Dreams.” The cabin will be featured in the upcoming movie “The Point Pleasant Tapes.” A movie producer also stayed at the cabin, for peace and quiet, while he finished writing a script. Guest access You may park in the carport or in front of the cabin. Other things to note Quick and easy check-out. Put dirty towels in the laundry basket, wash used dishes (we will put them away), put trash in the trashcan. There is a handheld vacuum in the kitchen. During the Fall, you might see stink bugs (typically around the windows.) Feel free to vacuum them. There is no hunting allowed on this property or the adjacent property. This is not a rental for hunters who are hunting on nearby land.
