The Tipsy Adventurer is set up to provide respite after spending your days exploring the North Shore. Our cozy abode sleeps up to 6 adults and is central to the what this unique area has to offer. No, you aren't out on the open waters of Lake Superior, but with the bones of this home established in 1903, it does have unique characteristics including some uneven floors. The home is freshly remodeled and ready to host adventurers looking to explore the north shore. During the winter, our property is located directly on the Two Harbors Corridor Snowmobile trail, making access to the North Shore’s expansive trail network as easy as possible. The space can accommodate most snowmobile trailer sizes, but is weather dependent (unavailable from early spring onward) please reach out to verify parking availability prior to booking. Our central location makes nearly all local attractions within walking distance, including local eateries, coffees and cocktails (less than a block away), Castle Danger Brewery (5 blocks), and Lake Superior itself (7 blocks). A short drive will gain you access to a multitude of State Parks and natural spaces that will leave you awestruck, including: - Gooseberry Falls State Park (13 miles) - Split Rock Light House (20 miles) - Iona Beach (16 miles) The main office and several trailheads for the Superior Hiking trail are located in and around Two Harbors itself, as well as biking trails ready for action. Whatever you’re hoping to accomplish on your visit, the Tipsy Adventure is a central landing pad for you to rely on to recharge and fuel up after a long (or short!) day of excursion. The entire house is available to guests during their stay. This includes a full kitchen prepped for cooking, a full bath including a shower, washer and HE dryer, both bedrooms, and living room equipped with a 42” LED Smart TV. The patio off the front of the house is available in spring, summer, and autumn, but it is usually too cold during winter months to spend time on it. The property comes with private parking spaces are free for guests to use, and are free for the length of the stay. Street parking seasonally available. Hosts welcome communication during your stay.
