With a pool, tiki bar, jacuzzi, theater room, game room, and direct access to the sound and ocean, we promise you will not go bored! The space Vacationers will enjoy plenty of time outside, thanks to a sprawling private pool complex that features a row of deck chairs perched on a grassy poolside deck, a Tiki Bar, a hot tub, and a grill-- all steps away from the Pamlico Sound (which you can explore on our ocean kayak!). Enjoy some of the best windsurfing and kiteboarding conditions in the world on the miles of open sound waters, world-class surfing at the beach (3-minute walk!) or kick off the flip flops and relax with a drink in the private and spacious pool area. After a sunny afternoon or two, visitors will surely discover that there's no shortage of ways to stay entertained at The Big Kahuna. Please request this one week prior to your arrival) A Ground Floor Where Hours of Fun Await The ground floor has enough indoor entertainment options for a full-fledged resort, starting with the decadent 18-Seat Mini Theater w/ 168" Projection Screen TV and Netflix. For more active fun, start a family pool tournament in the generous game room with a pool table, comfy seating for spectators. WE also have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher for effortless refreshments throughout your playtime. There's also two bedrooms on this level, as well as a convenient half bath and step-outside access to the private pool. Sweet Dreams are Assured in the Second Level The second level is home to four quiet bedrooms that are appointed with elegant furnishings and fixtures, and which boast soft coastal decor schemes that are perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the beach. Step outside the sliders to take in the salty breezes from the adjacent covered decks, or head to the office to do a little work or catch up with the folks back home. Designed for unwinding, the second level is a sweet respite for visitors who need a bit of peace and quiet. Top-Level Great Room where Sound Views Shine The grand top-level great room features a wealth of open space and accommodating amenities, starting with the living area which features comfortable furnishings, a flat-screen TV, and a cold-weather fireplace. The dining area is found nearby, with ample natural light and plenty of elbow room at twin dining tables, while the kitchen will be a chef's delight, thanks to generous stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar where casual meals and conversation can be enjoyed. Step outside in the evenings to enjoy a sunset over the water from your private hot tub, or head upstairs to the top-level loft to cozy up with a good book in solitude. There's also a regal master king bedroom on the top level, which features a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, as well as private deck access where the Pamlico vistas are waiting. Guest access There is a free parking lot on the property. 0.2 miles / 3-minute walk to Southgate Dr. beach access. Other things to note Linens (sheets & towels) are not included.
