Other things to note We enjoy our home and want you to as well. It can get buggy especially in the summer so use bug spray (we provide) and always have a stick when hiking to brush away the cobwebs. There have been snakes spotted on the property and are usually harmless. However always keep an eye out for water moccasins. While the house gets cleaned thoroughly after each use you may occasionally see a palmetto bug, spiders, or moths due to it being a wood frame home in a wooded area. We have the house sprayed and treated quarterly. The house also has a farmhouse woodsy smell due to it being totally wood framed. We have a high quality reverse osmosis to the right of the kitchen sink. Also, in the summer we have a mini split air conditioning unit in the living area for optimal cooling.
