Rainbow's End Mountain Lake House

You've found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in this comfortable, stylish mountain lake house! The house sits on 4 acres with a private dock on Rainbow Lake. Whether you want to relax by the stone fireplace in the vaulted wood ceilings of the great room, cozy up with a good book in the hip and funky loft area, or enjoy the fresh mountain air in the large screened-in porch, this house has it all. There's a remote work station with 2 monitors, universal docking station and printer. The space This cozy, modern cabin is the perfect getaway for a relaxing retreat in the mountains, or an ideal space to “work from home” in a new environment. The living room is warm and inviting with a comfy sectional sofa to enjoy a movie on the 70” smart tv. Please note we do not have cable TV or local TV channels, but have a smart TV that you can log in to all your streaming services. The fully-equipped kitchen features custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink and ample counter space with marble countertops! Enjoy a home cooked meal or a game night on the large dining room table which seats 6 comfortably. Fire up the grill and take advantage of the large patio dining area with cafe lights to enjoy a meal al fresco. Off the patio is a separate, screened in porch with plenty of seating options for you and your friends! In addition to the kitchen, living and dining rooms, the first floor has an updated full bath, with a glass walk-in rainfall shower, a spacious bedroom with a king bed , and a washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find a second living space in the loft, a work from home area, a full bathroom, and another spacious bedroom with a queen bed. For all you digital nomads out there, the work from home area is complete with everything you will need in your new “home” office: dual monitors, universal docking station, wireless printer, wireless keyboard and mouse, and a large workspace to boot! We have 1 Gigabyte Fiber internet service providing ultra-high speed internet for all your work and streaming needs. Enjoy a restful nights sleep on the most comfortable beds (seriously). For entertainment there are board games, playing cards and a set of corn hole boards on the downstairs patio. Follow the path about 100 yards down the backyard to Rainbow Lake (your own private lake)…feel free to take the canoe out for a spin, or just relax in the rocking Adirondack chairs on the private dock. We also have access to Indian Lake, a 10 minute walk from the house where we have 2 SUP for guests to use. We do allow pets (dogs only) for a charge of $25 per dog per night. We ask that you do not allow your pet on the furniture or bed and that you properly clean up after your pet. We have a large fenced back yard to allow your pooch to be outside unsupervised. Guest access The house is in a private community with paved roads throughout. The driveway to the house is gravel with parking for 3 cars at the house. We also provide a 50 amp, 240 Volt NEMA 14-50 receptacle to easily fully charge your electric vehicle (EV) overnight. Other things to note The house is situated on 4 acres that provide a peaceful, secluded stay in a private community with 2 private lakes. There is a large fenced yard and a path to access a beautiful creek that leads to the lake. We are the only house with access to Rainbow Lake where you can fish from our private dock or feel free to use our canoe. The larger Indian Lake has a waterfront park, just a short walk away with two SUP's for your use. Please note, we are not on Lake Toxaway. Lake Toxaway is a lake and a town and we are in the township of Lake Toxaway. We have total 2 cameras installed around the listing: 1 on the garage and 1 on the back deck. These are ON and recording 24/7 during the reservation. Any disturbing of these cameras will result in immediate forfeit of the stay.
