Hidden on its own private lane, this 18th century farmhouse gives guests the chance to experience the past. Laurel Hill Farm was originally settled in 1762 with several additions in the following centuries. The house has been restored and updated to include modern amenities. Among the charming period features are hand blown glass windows, exposed brick walls, original wide board pine floors, all of which are blended seamlessly with modern amenities. The space Four bedroom, two and one half bathroom whole house rental. Main floor has a full kitchen, a dining room, a formal sitting room two wood stoves and a family room with 4k 55" smart TV. Upstairs there are four bedrooms with six beds, a hall bath with bathtub/shower combo and master bath with large walk in shower. Outside there is a back patio with ambiance lighting, patio furniture, and firepit with wood as well as hot tub. Included in the 30+ acre property is a large front yard with outdoor benches and mature shade trees. House has a backup power generation system capable of providing the whole home with electricity. Book with peace of mind knowing you’ll never have to worry about power outages during the summer storms or the winter blizzards. Guest access On its own private drive with plenty of room for parking, directly off of paved Hamilton Station Road. The driveway is gravel. Horseback riding lessons available upon request! Rate is $65 per hour lesson (through Stormy Day Farm) Other things to note We occasionally rearrange and add furniture, so photos may not reflect the current layout. Disclaimer: Guests are charged a fee from Airbnb, along with 6% VA sales tax and 8% county tax. Cleaning fee is $140 for a two night stay and $175 for stays longer than two nights. NOTE: Early check-in fee is $20/hour for up to two hours early check-in. Any check-in before noon is $40 for the two hours between 12-2 plus an increased $30/hour rate for any additional hours. The early check-in option is not guaranteed to be available.
