Perched at the top of Mutiny Bay, just 15 mins from the ferry terminal and less than 5-10 minutes from downtown Freeland and Mutiny Bay beach we welcome you to "Evergreen". Surrounded by acres of preserved forested space, you will have utter privacy during your getaway to relax and enjoy the space! We spent almost a year trying to find the perfect home for our family of 4, where we could get away from the hurdles and noise of daily city life. We also wanted something which had ample indoor and outdoor space, and was within a few minutes of restaurants, grocery stores and the beach! We ended up finding the perfect home which checked all our boxes, and then several months decorating it to be a perfect vacation home. We thoroughly enjoy this home and in the time that we are not using it we wish to share it with you. Our 3 bed/2 bath features all the amenities of a new house yet has a very "country" feel to it. The oversized deck provides plenty of space to hang out, BBQ, eat and lounge all while being surrounded by nature. Exit the deck to the most beautiful of back yards surrounded by trees for a true “Dogs Paradise”. Play your favorite games on lush green grass. We provide you with gear to enjoy badminton, volleyball, pickleball and soccer. Once you tire out or just feel like sitting back and chatting we have a separate outdoor space with a Solo Stove Fire Pit, paired with Polywood Adirondack Chairs. This space is for you to cozy up next to the fire pit and engage in a conversation or just sit back and stare at the twinkling night stars while you sip your wine. The inside of the home has all modern amenities for your comfort! The Great room is equipped with an Alexa enabled surround sound " Echo", a Smart 65” Samsung QLED 4K Ultra High Definition TV, Sony full HD Blu-Ray player paired with SONOS Surround Sound for breathtaking audio. The Gourmet Kitchen comes fully stocked and features the Nespresso Vertuo Machine to enjoy your favorite Lattes. The Master Bedroom suite features a 58" Samsung 4K Crystal UHD wall mounted SMART TV, a Brentwood Calistoga Mattress paired with a King size bed, soft Egyptian cotton bed sheets, a spacious walk in closet and an attached full bath. Second Bedroom features a medium firm Brentwood Queen Size Bed, built in closet and a shared bathroom Third Bedroom has full size Bunk Bed, its own closet and a shared bathroom. The top bunk is suitable for kids (under 100lbs), and should not be used by adults. Also supplied is a pack and play and a high chair. We also have LEVEL 2 EV charging available at no cost to our guests (Tesla cord installed). Guests will have access to Netflix/Amazon Prime Video, basic cable and Xfinity high speed internet. * Hot Tub: Hot Tub is offered as an add on feature for $50. This fee is there to cover additional expenses with servicing the spa. Children under 15 are not allowed in the hot tub. Confirmed bookings with hot tub add on will be given access code for the Spa. Please be sure to read and follow the posted rules for Hot Tub usage. In an event that the spa cannot be used due to technical fault prior to check in the spa fee off $50 will be refunded. Smart locks for easy access to the house. You will have the whole home to yourself except the outdoor shed. Garage can also be used to park car. Please note EV charger is outdoor and only accessible when parked in the drive way Central freeland location close to restaurants/grocery store/ ferry terminal/beach Noise: We do require quiet outdoor hours be observed between 9 PM and 9 AM. Outdoor string lighting automatically turns off at 9:30 PM Security Deposit: A fully refundable security deposit of $250 is required with every reservation. Indoor Fireplace: the indoor fireplace is wood burning and due to increased risk is currently decommissioned for use. Number of Guests in the house: To limit wear and tear in the house we have a limit of 6 guests (including guest’s visitors) inside the house. Parking: Please park your car in the drive way. Parking in the cul de sac is not allowed The outdoor fire pit is vicinity to the septic system, as such guests may notice some noise from the equipment. Pets: We allow for one small to medium size dog, if your dog is larger please contact us prior to booking. There will be an additional $75 pet cleaning fee (bigger dogs may require a high security deposit/pet fee). Please make sure dog’s are on a leash when they are not in the back yard and on community property. Due to increased stain risk pets are NOT allowed on any furniture piece, we do provide a dog bed which can be moved and used throughout the house. Hot Tub: Hot Tub is offered as an add on feature for $50 to cover extra associated costs. Children under 15 are not allowed in the hot tub. Confirmed bookings with hot tub add on will be sent code to access the SPA. Please read and follow the posted sign for hot tub usage. In an event that the spa cannot be used due to technical fault prior to check in the spa fee off $50 will be refunded. Smoking/Vaping: We do not allow for any type of smoking within the house. Any evidence of smoking within the home will result in a $300 fine.
