Located just 15 minutes from exit 18 off of the NYS thruway. It is recommended that you have a car to get around in upstate NY. There are several public transportation options to get you here but once here a car is essential. For anyone traveling up from NYC: Adirondack Trailways out of The Port Authority has a stop in Rosendale, NY and is my recommendation for the most direct and closest drop off. Amtrak stops in Rhinecliff just 30 minutes away Metro North stops in Poughkeepsie just 35 minutes away
