Welcome to Brent and Carla's Lake View Cottage! Our beautifully renovated, fully furnished, unique and luxurious home is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay in beautiful Lake of the Woods. Our cozy cottage is a perfect get-away for your next vacation, visit with family, work trip, staycation or weekend getaway. You will instantly be set at ease as you enter our home featuring wonderful décor, detailed craftsmanship and lots of amenities to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The space Our home has been thoughtfully designed and renovated by Bulldog Construction Services to maximize functionality and create comfortable, open living spaces within this cozy 1,200 SF home. From custom features like lighting & fixtures to the finer details of carpentry and tile work, smart automation and many unique finishing touches, our home represents both our brand and our high standards. We are primarily set-up to host short-term reservations in our home via this platform of 30 days or less, and may consider longer term bookings on a case-by-case basis. As you enter our home, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen featuring open shelving, quartz counter tops with island seating and brand new black stainless appliances; equipped and organized to serve all your cooking and baking needs; and perfect for home cooked meals. The adjacent multi-purpose room (laundry, pantry, mudroom) also offers additional food & storage space. The living room and dining room features a high ceiling with beautiful rough-cut beams and windows galore for plenty of natural light. The dining room comfortably seats six (6) guests to enjoy those home cooked meals or even play a game of ping-pong, cards or classic board games for everyone’s enjoyment. The living room features a coffee and wine bar, stocked with Keurig coffee and offers wine and beverage coolers for your own beverages during your stay. A love seat and two reclining chairs can be oriented both for conversation and for viewing the 65” Roku TV mounted above the authentic stone gas fireplace. Additional bean bag chairs are provided to cozy up for a night in, watch movies and enjoy your time together. The main level bunk room features two (2) super-sturdy twin size bunkbeds ready to accommodate guests of all ages; comfortably sleeps four (4) guests (with a single trundle bed available for a 5th guest) and connects to a beautifully designed “spa-like” full bath with a curbless (walk-in) shower. Ascending the spiral staircase, you will enter the beautiful owner’s suite with one (1) queen sized bed, electric fireplace, dedicated work space, his and hers closets, and a beautifully designed “spa-like” en-suite full bath with a curbed (walk-in) shower. There is a single/rollaway cot available in the owners suite to accommodate a 3rd guest in this room. Both bathrooms feature beautiful tile surround, stone accents, built-in seat & cubby and an exhaust fan with bluetooth speaker to stream your favorite tunes. Our large corner lot has plenty of outdoor space for relaxing in the sun with a book and escaping to the outdoors. Enjoy the light breeze on our front patio, a nice barbecue on the rear deck or gather around the gas fire pit and take in the relaxing surroundings with lake views (semi-obstructed & seasonal). It's a short walk to Ramsey Beach where you can indulge in a lake side meal, barbecue at the beach and take a swim in the quiet main lake. Our guests may enjoy what our community has to offer including dining in the community restaurants and use of the swimming pool, public beaches, fishing, golfing, horseback riding (with advanced reservation) and use of non-motorized/ non-powered boats (canoe, kayak, paddle board). However, Lake of the Woods DOES NOT permit guests to bring their own powered boat for use on the lake. Guest access Lake of the Woods is a gated community and requires owner authorization to enter the community. Guests must access the community through the front security gate on Route 3. Guests may exit through the back gate at any time but must enter the community through the front security gate only. Parking is free anywhere in the community. Our guests may enjoy what our community has to offer including dining in the community restaurants and use of the outdoor swimming pools, public beaches, fishing, golfing, horseback riding and use of non-motorized/ non-powered boats (canoe, kayak, paddle board); please note that use of the pool, horse back riding and golfing facilities are included at an additional cost to the guest handled between the guest and that specific facility). However, Lake of the Woods DOES NOT permit guests to bring their own powered boat for use on the lake. If you would like to indulge in “Lake Life” without the hassle of lugging around your own stuff we also offer a BEACH FUN and/or LAKE FUN Add-On package. Our Beach Fun package includes several items to make your beach and lake time memorable! From the added convenience of providing coolers & chairs to the fun stuff like paddle boards and floaties ~ we’ve got you covered! Our Lake Fun package includes the use of two (2) kayaks and life vests (NOTE: life vests are required while kayaking and paddle-boarding) Simply message us with your booking for more information about “Add-On” package details and pricing! Need other Add-On Services during your stay; - Grocery Shopping - Special Occassion Surprise (Birthday/ Wedding/Anniversary) Other things to note Your stay includes the use of linens, kitchenware, and a variety of spray cooking oils, seasonings, coffee, creamers, and sweeteners. A generous initial supply of paper products, dish and laundry detergents are provided. While the HDTVs do not have traditional cable access, they do have access to over 3,000 movies via the Plex app and plenty of free streaming apps such as Pluto TV, YouTube, Roku Channel and others to entertain you during your stay. Other apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount +, and Disney + have been loaded so you may sign in using your own account should you desire.
