Gil Haus, nestled on 20 private acres, is the perfect luxurious modern farmhouse for a quick getaway from the city. Built in the late 1930s, this stunning interior will spoil you with Bertazzoni appliances and custom clawfoot soaking tub. This secluded home is ideal for a romantic trip, or it can offer a peaceful stay when you want to escape the city. Animals or 'visiting' animals are not allowed. The space This well-appointed 3-bedroom, 2 bath modern farmhouse in the Manor/Elgin area is perfect for anyone visiting or working in Austin (30 minutes), with Tesla 27 minutes away. The racing action at the Circuit of the Americas is a quick 30 minutes away. The Grand Lady and world famous Southside Barbecue are minutes away, for folks that want delicious Texas barbecue before walking down the aisle! Be as loud as you like. No noise ordinance here! For your comfort, two King beds have luxury gel memory foam mattresses for a great night's sleep away from home. Two gel memory foam Twin XL beds in the third bedroom are long enough to fit adults. A Twin XL trundle is kept under one of the Twin XL beds. We apologize for the inconvenience, but animals or 'visiting' animals are not allowed at this time. The living room is equipped with a 70” Samsung 4k Smart TV. Smart 4k TVs are also in main and second bedrooms, with app login available. The stereo is Bluetooth capable, so you can play music from your devices. Room-darkening curtains throughout the home allow you to sleep late and add privacy. The kitchen features high-end stainless-steel appliances, including Bertazzoni electric range, drawer microwave, pot filler and is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and kitchen towels. For your convenience, small appliances are also available: toaster, electric water kettle, blender, stand mixer and waffle maker. A Keurig (with complimentary K-cups), drip coffee maker & a French press is available for coffee lovers. The pantry cabinets are stocked with basic condiments such as sugar, salt + pepper, olive oil and spices. There is a local HEB grocery store under 9 minutes from the house, plus a Walmart. The outdoor deck features a small charcoal grill and Adirondack style chairs for enjoying the tree covered back yard and fire pit table. Towels and bed linens are provided during your stay. Dishwasher soap tabs, shower and hand soap, shampoo and conditioner are available in limited quantities. Two extra rolls of toilet paper, and 3 garbage bags are provided. If you plan on using more supplies, please bring what you need. We suggest you bring charcoal, outdoor bug spray (like Cutter), firewood and charcoal lighter fluid if you plan to relax on the deck or use the charcoal grill. No Animals or Visiting Animals: To ensure a safe and allergy-free environment for my family, animals of any kind (including visiting animals) are not allowed due to severe allergies requiring medical treatment. Unauthorized Guests Policy: Only registered guests are allowed. Any unregistered guest will incur a $200 per person, per night fee and may result in cancellation of your stay, with no refund. No third party bookings; booking guest must stay the entire length of the reservation. 3. Group Events/Meetings: We are managed by Avvay for group events. If you’re planning an event, please coordinate directly with them for your group’s needs. If unauthorized guests appear, a $1,000 guest fee will be charged to the booking guest. 4. Vehicle Restrictions: To ensure smooth parking arrangements, trailers, bucket/moving trucks, RVs, campers, and large work or dually trucks are not permitted. Trucks over 1 ton will incur a $100 parking/storage charge per trailer/vehicle, per day. 5. Internet Connectivity: Our home is in the countryside and uses Starlink satellite Wi-Fi, which can provide speeds as low as 25 Mbps. Connectivity may be spotty at times, and this is beyond my control. 6. Bugs, Farm life and Wildlife: While we maintain a monthly pest control service, our home is surrounded by nature, and encountering bugs is part of country living. Please note that no refunds or discounts will be offered for acts of nature, including bugs, weather, or events beyond our control. 7. Property Services: Our home is serviced by lawn care, pest control professionals, and a farmer. It is rare that you will see them during your stay, but as we are on the farmer’s schedule, ploughing may occur when necessary. Rest assured, they will never enter our home.
