In the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, a mythical place for climbing and walks, we welcome you to the "Cosy Corner" gîte of Escal'Arbonne, for a stay with family or friends, or for the organization of your seminars. 50 km from the gates of Paris, ideally located between Fontainebleau and Milly-la-Forêt, and only a few km from the village of painters of Barbizon, come and stay with us! You will be seduced by the environment, calm and nature! The space Enjoy the comfort of a new building completed in July 2021, with a warm and original decor. Large furnished and fully equipped gîte, accommodating up to 9-10 people depending on the configuration of your group. 9 adult beds + 1 permanent baby bed. Everything has been thought out and designed to accommodate groups and families. Remote work made easy: high-quality Wi-Fi and various office spaces with RJ45 connectors in each bedroom. On the ground floor: - spacious and convenient entrance to drop off everyone's coats, bags and shoes, with compartment for crash pads. - Large living room with fully equipped new open kitchen (oven, induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, complete cookware, filter coffee machine, Nespresso, etc.). - Farm table to accommodate your meals, board games or work meetings - Cozy lounge area with flat screen SMART TV - Bedroom for 2 people with 160 cm bed, desk and storage - Bathroom with shower and toilet Upstairs: - 3 beautiful bedrooms of about 15 m² each and a spacious shower room. - The Dormitory: bedroom with 3 single beds of 90 cm in a minimalist and refined atmosphere. - La Vallée: bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 cm that can be brought together if needed. Large landscape atmosphere! Desk, storage and possibility to add a folding crib. - L'Herbier: bedroom with 1 bed of 160 cm and 1 baby bed, in a more delicate floral atmosphere. Shower room with 90 x 120 shower, large vanity, storage, toilet and changing table. For your convenience, at the Cosy Corner cottage, all sheets and towels are included in the price. The beds will even be made for your arrival! Washing machine and dryer available free of charge. For the enjoyment of young and old, many board games as well as some toys for children of all ages, books and comics are available. If necessary, a high chair and a baby bath are available. Outside, you can enjoy a terrace under the birch trees, with garden furniture, sunshade, and BBQ dedicated to the cottage. Very quiet environment. Fully enclosed private garden with a gate overlooking a large wooded garden and access to children's games (swing, slide, large trampoline, Molkky, balls...). Note: the use of outdoor games is shared with the occupants of our 2nd cottage (for 5 people), located opposite the property. Access via a motorized gate with 3 secure parking spaces. Climbing enthusiasts: we are located just minutes from the most famous climbing sites (Isatis, Cuisinière, Gorge aux Chats, La Canche aux Merciers, Drei Zinnen, Cuvier, Le Cul de Chien, Apremont, etc.). You will be on site in just 3 to 15 minutes! For amateur or competitive riders, we are located a 5-minute drive from Barbizon and a 10-minute drive from the Grand Parquet. And as for hikers, you will have direct access to the forest from the house! Numerous accessible circuits just a few minutes from the village. We will be happy to provide you with information. Let's not forget culture, for which we are not left out either: you can visit splendid castles (Fontainebleau, Courances, Vaux le Vicomte), stroll through the Art galleries of Barbizon, or discover more atypical places like the sculpture of the Cyclops, the house of Jean Cocteau, the chapel of the Simple and the villages that border the Loing River (and superb canoe ride). Guest access Shared access to the garden and children's play areas (swing, trampoline, outdoor games, etc.). Secure key box in case of arrival in our absence. Other things to note The accommodation is a short walk from a farm selling seasonal vegetables and local products (every Saturday and Sunday morning). - Sale of organic artisanal bread, brioches, special breads every Tuesday and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the village square, as well as a bulk grocery store at the same times. The village pizzeria (Dolce Pizza) can deliver delicious pizzas to the cottage! Possibility of on-site catering soon. - Le Petit Corne Biche: A delightful restaurant just 50 meters from the cottage! For climbing, crash pad rental is available by the day or week. Reservation required. Mountain bike rental also possible (with baby carrier loan if needed). Guest access We try to be there for every arrival and departure of our guests! We are committed to welcoming you personally and introducing you to the house, garden and answering any questions you may have. We won't be far during your stay if needed. We are there 99% of the time for your arrival and otherwise, a lockbox on site and self check-in procedure will be sent to you. Other things to note The house was built in 2022 and was decorated by us, it will be comfortable for your stay!
