The space Lake Koocanusa is a reservoir in which water level is controlled by Libby Dam in Montana. Water level is highest in July and August and lowest in May. The lake can not be used for skating in winter. Most recent addition to the community is Crystal Lake for swimming in summer (no motorized equipment there), and skating in winter. Crystal lake is 700 m long by 75 m wide and max 3 m deep. It has constant water level throughout the year. Guest access The garage is not included in this rental. Other things to note No RV parking (vehicles or trailers) is allowed at the property or on the road in front of the property. No pets are allowed at the property (that includes setting up dog cage outside of the house). Speed limit on all roads within the Koocanusa Village is 20 km/h. We do not provide snow removal in winter. We try to arrange for one time snow removal prior to your arrival, depending on local labour availability.
