Our nest in the pines is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the wildlife. Our clean, comfortable two-bedroom home is ideal for relaxing or as a base to explore the many attractions surrounding the area, including the Big Horns Mountains. Whatever your reason for visiting the area, we are here to make sure you have a great stay. We are in the middle of nowhere, but close to everything. Let us know what you're interested in and we would be happy to assist you. The space We've thoughtfully prepared our cozy retreat with everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. Stay connected with fast Wi-Fi, Smart TV and cable—or disconnect completely and recharge in nature. Wildlife frequently strolls by, adding charm to the peaceful surroundings. While Wi-Fi is reliable, occasional weather disruptions may occur due to our beautiful remote location. We're just a half-mile away and available whenever you need us. Guest access You'll enjoy easy, secure, and private access to the entire home through our convenient keyless entry system—available 24/7, no matter when you arrive. Other things to note The Sheridan and Story area is packed with activities for every interest! Whether you're into shopping, outdoor adventures, or just relaxing and soaking in the scenery, there's plenty to explore. - Local Shopping & Arts – Sheridan, Dayton, and Ranchester offer charming boutiques, art galleries, and antique stores, perfect for an afternoon stroll. Don't miss the historic WYO Theatre for live performances and classic film screenings. - Golf & Outdoor Fun – Within 20 miles, you’ll find four diverse golf courses: Kendrick, Buffalo Golf Club, Hidden Bridge Golf Club, and The Powder Horn. - Winter Activities – Love snow? Meadowlark and Antelope Butte ski areas are nearby, and the region boasts popular snowmobiling trails. - Water Recreation – Lake DeSmet, just 15 minutes away (barring road construction), offers boating, paddleboarding, and fun in the sun. Rentals for boats, gear, and equipment are available locally. - Rodeo Excitement – Sheridan WYO Rodeo in July is a must-see, drawing visitors from all over, and the Elks Youth Rodeo in August is another great event for families. - Biking & Exploring – Cycling is popular, and bike rentals are available if you want to hit the trails. Buffalo, less than 30 minutes away, also has great shops, museums, and historic sites. If you're traveling between Story and Buffalo, ask us about alternate routes to avoid construction.
