Cabin Retreat with Pool and Firepit on 4 Acres

Gather at the log cabin with fireplace and enjoy the private pool (Memorial Day- Sept). Updated with all the essentials like fast WiFi, Roku, open kitchen/dining area, stocked kitchen, grill. Minutes to ski mountains and all Berkshires area attractions. Space for everyone to stretch out outside on 4 acres! Close to everything, but feels like your own wooded retreat. One mile south of MA 15 min to Great Barrington/Big Y 20 min to Ski Butternut 25 min to Catamount Ski 40 min to Tanglewood The space Clean and updated log cabin with three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one with tub, one with shower stall). Beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace inside. Nicely stocked open kitchen and dining area, making cooking and eating together a pleasure. Bedrooms all have new memory foam mattresses. Refreshing pool open in the summer (unheated). Pool is 3 feet to 8 feet at the deep end. Grill and eat outside on the large wood deck. Private and peaceful on 4+ acres with lawn and woods for you to enjoy the outdoors. Deer, hummingbirds, and butterflies are often hanging around. Only 2.5 hours or less from NYC! House is not appropriate for young children due to the easy access to pool, steep stairs, and open railing. Absolutely no smoking or parties. Sound carries outside; please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise down after 10:00 pm. Sorry, no pets. Guest access The house and 4 acres of lawn and woods are yours to enjoy! Please note sunroom and basement are for owner use only. Plenty of parking. House is on a private, unpaved gravel road. SUV/4-wheel drive recommended, especially in the winter. Other things to note Fast WiFi (200 mbps) and good cell service. Window air-conditioning units in all bedrooms, ceiling fan in living room keeps the house cool (no central AC). House borders commercial train tracks on one far side, separated by trees and large lawn but in sight during the winter. You will occasionally hear trains going by or an old-fashioned train whistle . Our kids love to listen for it! Note that there is open access to the pool. The stairs going to the bedrooms and full bathroom are a little steeper than usual. House isn't recommended for families with young children. All children must be supervised at all times around the pool. Swimming is always at your own risk.
