The second floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom located on the second floor has its own private en suite bathroom. Located off the back of the house is a private deck with a hot tub and 2 different sitting areas. Arrive with Ease _____________ Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime! Expectations _____________ 99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that: We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Parking _____________ We have a driveway that fits 6-8 cars, with room for 2 - 4 additional cars in our garage. Please note that if you using a navigation app to get directions to the house, do not use Waze. It will take you to the wrong address. Google Maps and Apple Maps both take you to the correct address. Entry _____________ The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the back door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock. When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock. Extra Sleeping Arrangements _____________ Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate. Our Neighborhood _____________ This house is centrally-located for access to downtown South Lyon as well as lots of areas nearby, including Ann Arbor, Brighton, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, and Canton. The house is also only a forty-five-minute drive to Michigan Avenue and all of Detroit’s best amenities. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules: - No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. - Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. - Please leave your shoes at the door. - No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. - No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. - Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help. - When accessing or utilizing the hot tub (sometimes referred to as a "Jacuzzi"), all guests do so at their own risk Getting Around _____________ While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Plymouth/Northville/Canton/Ann Arbor areas!
