Our custom-built home is elevated, overlooking Lake Nepessing. The sunset views from 4 deck levels are spectacular. Mature trees, squirrels, birds, and fragrant flowers surround it. The private beach has a fire pit, patio chairs, and a hammock. Springtime, summer, winter, and fall. This place is the time for all seasons. World-class fishing walleye bass pike year-round. Sailing, windsurfing, pontooning, jet skiing in the summer & ice boating, snowmobile quad running & ice fishing all winter. The space The main living, kitchen, and dining areas are located on the second floor, where a wall of windows frames an ever-changing, spectacular view of the water. As you climb the final steps to this level, the panoramic scene of the lake unfolds before you, drawing your eyes to its beauty from high above. In the morning, sip your coffee and watch the light dance across the waves; in the evening, enjoy a glass of wine or your favorite beverage while keeping an eye out for fish leaping from the water or bald eagles swooping down for a catch. You can also take in all this from our screened-in, covered porch, where an eight-person, 450-gallon hot tub—complete with fountains, LED lights and Bluetooth speakers—awaits you. Bedrooms The home features three bedrooms. The two guest rooms at the front of the house share a full bathroom with a shower and soaker-size bathtub, as well as a connecting separate half bath. The master bedroom, located on the lakeside, opens through French doors to the second-level deck—perfect for summertime dining and relaxing while enjoying views of the lake and beach below. The master suite includes two toilets, a glass-enclosed shower, faucet with sink and a walk-in closet. Loft Area Above the main living space is a cozy loft with a Bowflex, stationary bike, inversion table, and two additional queen-size foam mattresses. While the loft is a great spot for extra sleeping accommodations, it has an opening for the ladder access is not suitable for small children or anyone impaired. We’ve found that up to eight guests can comfortably stay in our home, with the additional two loft mattresses sleeping one person each. Comfortable foam mattress sofas make hanging out in this area fun. This is also where the grill is fired up, and plenty of cold beverages are being imbibed taken from our full-size porch refrigerator. We have a bow flex and stationary bike exercise area in the loft. An Important Note About Our Home and Community We live on a shared private driveway alongside a small group of friendly and respectful neighbors. Because of this, our property is not suitable for large, disruptive gatherings. Out of respect for our neighbors and our community, we do not allow: • Loud or rowdy parties • Excessive noise or disturbances • Large groups of people wandering the property • Parking that blocks or interferes with our shared driveway • Inappropriate behavior or events that disrupt the peace (you get the idea!) Many homeowners on Lake Nepessing have expressed concerns about short-term rentals that disturb their quiet enjoyment of the lake. We want to continue offering our home as a short-term rental, but only to guests who are willing to respect our property and our neighbors. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay—great!
