For snowmobilers, a local trail is accessible directly behind the house, or you can park your trailer at the Northern Timber Cruisers headquarters just 1.5 miles away, offering ample parking and connections to multiple trails. Onsite parking includes a spacious driveway measuring 75 feet by 13 feet and additional storage options in the garage. Please ensure your vehicles and trailers fit within the space, or plan to utilize the Northern Timber Cruisers lot. Guests also enjoy access to washer and dryer units in the basement, making longer stays convenient. For those driving electric vehicles, a Tesla Supercharger is available off I-95, and Level II chargers are located across the street at Veteran’s Park. High-speed fiber-optic internet makes this home a fantastic choice for remote work, allowing you to stay connected while exploring the region. A: Check-in is at 4pm, but we can occasionally allow an early check-in of 2pm if another group is not checking out that same day. We won't know until a couple of days before your reservation if this will be the case, so please ask closer to your arrival date and we can give you a definite answer. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Yes, this is a pet-friendly rental. Please let us know beforehand as there is a $40 additional charge for pets, and we ask that you keep them off of furniture and beds and clean up after them in the yard. Other things to note When you stay with us you're only one block from town center for breakfast, the library, or the post office. There are also hardware and general stores for supplies. Hannaford, a short drive away, is well-stocked and covers all your grocery shopping needs. For other shopping needs, there's a Walmart in Lincoln, less than 30 miles away. We also highly recommend checking out the Katahdin Gear Library for borrowing canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes (mountain and fat-tire), XC skis, snowshoes, and backpacks - all for free or low cost.
