Great Country getaway SPECIAL LOW RATES! Book NOW for the Holidays ! The Main Cabin was the Historic General Store built in 1828. It has all the modern conveniences and is right next to the Wilkins Mill Covered Bridge and Turkey Run State Park. This large (1,200 sq ft) cabin has an open loft type sleeping arrangement that can sleep 8-10 guests. It offers a Full kitchen and 1.5 baths. The large screened porch has additional dining and sleeping space and looks out at the covered bridge The space We have Sugar Mill Creek running through the property, with private hiking trails, private beach and fishing. We are located next to Turkey Run State Park where there are hours of hiking trails as well as an Olympic size outdoor Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Horseback riding stable and Bike Rental. The Turkey Run Inn has a restaurant open for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Guest access The Main Cabin has many board games, DVD's CD's and loads of books on Nature, local History and Art. The cabin is filled with period antiques and offers a relaxing setting for family reunions and groups of friends to relax and enjoy each other’s company in front of the fireplace. There is also an outdoor fire pit to enjoy the amazing stars city dwellers rarely see. Just across the 10’ brick patio is our Spring House- a separate listing which sleeps 2 in twin beds. Large groups may add the Spring House to increase the number of guests in their group. Or there may be 1 or 2 other AirBnb guests who are renting the Spring House if only the Main Cabin has been reserved. Guests from both our cabins and Hilltop House across the covered bridge have shared use of all our hiking trails and our wading beach on Sugar Mill Creek. Guests may also bring their own horses. We have a three stall barn, and turn-out pastures as well as a lighted riding arena. Other things to note Base rate shown is for one person. Additional guests of all ages pay just $20 per person per night. Pets are allowed with prior arrangement with the host. Dog Fee=$35/stay Additional Dogs$15/ stay Dogs are NOT to be left unattended. You may bring your dog’s crate or request to use ours. 7% State tax plus our local 8% InnKeeper’s tax will be added to the nightly rate. We are close to 3 golf courses, and three lakes which offer fishing and boat rental. We also have covered or indoor parking available for bicycles, motorcycles, and ATV's. RV electric plug in is available.
