The three-bedroom cozy cottage can comfortably host 6-7 adults and children. Each room is heated by an individually controlled electric baseboard heater and also has a ceiling fan. Readily available running hot water supply in washroom and kitchen. The washroom is brand new. Plenty of clean towels, linens, and toiletries are there for your use. There is also a fully functional wood-burning fireplace for that added ambiance! Want to work from within nature? We have a "Work From Home" setup with state-of-the-art Starlink 100mbps+ high-speed internet, a desk with a monitor, keyboard & Mouse. Full kitchen includes a microwave, stove, oven. and a large refrigerator. Make use of the assorted cooking pans, utensils, and dishes for hosting a large dinner. Plenty of board games, TV, and Blu-ray/DVD player to watch your favorite movies or enjoy Netflix or other streaming apps from the TV. The cottage has its own private sandy beach with a dock and also an outdoor bar/pergola facing the river. The water gets gradually deep so it's very safe for a family swim. There are plenty of beach umbrellas and camping chairs, life jackets, and outdoor sports equipment (volleyball, badminton, soccer ball) Four Kayaks (two for adults and two for kids) for your family and friends to enjoy the serenity of the Ottawa river, but if you are not quite the adventurous sort then lay down on the hammock by the beach and listen to the birds chirping and waves washing ashore! At night Enjoy not one but two fire pits - one by the beach and one adjacent to the cottage, surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs with plenty of firewood for those memorable bonfire nights. The cottage also has three patio dining tables for that coveted outdoor family dinner. The 1350 sqft cottage is on over a half an acre property that is gated and fenced and there is plenty of parking inside. The area is very safe and free of any dangerous animals. Oh also did I mention it’s a great place for fishing? This place is in a very friendly cottage neighborhood - peaceful yet not too far away from town amenities- in 8 min driving distance you will find almost all items you would need: - Metro grocery (open 7 days a week till 9 PM) - Multiple gas stations - Great cafes & restaurants - SAQ (Liquor store) - Pharmacy - Hardware store - Street food vendors - Medical clinic - Auto repair The famous Chutes Coulonge is just 12 min drive from the cottage - The major tourist attraction consists of Zip-lining, tree scaling, hiking and many more. Pets are allowed, however, please keep your pets under your constant supervision, as the neighbors may have dogs as well. Also, please use pet blankets on sofas and beds if you like your pets to accompany you. Lastly, please note, we are not a party place, ideal for single-family or couple of closed knitted families. We do ask that you respect the noise by-law and keep volume and voices reasonable after 10 p.m:) as there are neighbors on both sides of the cottage.
