Mammaw's Mountaintop Retreat
Mammaw's Mountaintop is inspired by my grandmother. It's super cozy, private, quiet, & the perfect get away. Located on 1.38 acres, this 3 bed/2 bath home is across the street from Petit Jean State Park and Lake Bailey. It's also walking distance to the Outpost, Coffeehouse, & very close to Visitors Center, campgrounds, & Museum of Automobiles. Gnomes are hidden throughout the grounds & makes for a fun search for the whole family and deer frequent the property in the evenings. Large eat in kitchen with table normally set for 4 expands to accommodate 8-10. Two steps guide you down (lit and highlighted with hazard tape), into the rest of the house which is all one level. Living room has leather sofa that seats three, two separate leather rocking chairs, coffee table, dedicated office space, and smart TV. Master bed is spacious and overlooks the front yard with king bed, 2 night stands, dresser, and large closet. Barn door access to master bath with single vanity and spacious tile shower. Second bedroom features a Queen bed, dresser, linen cabinet and adjoining full bath with stand up shower, pedestal sink, and toilet. Third bedroom features 3 twin beds that overlook front yard, with large dresser and adjoining laundry area. Outdoors are immaculate with covered patio, second deck off of kitchen, and covered outdoor kitchen. Please note: The 2 bathrooms are in each bedroom suite. The "kids" room with the three twin beds must use the bathrooms in the suites. State Park brochures are located in basket on kitchen hutch. They have all directions for the mountain in those brochures. Located 475 Feet from state park entrance and across the street from Bailey Lake. Coffeehouse and general store are nearby. You can purchase firewood next door to the house. Parking pads available outside house. But multiple places to park for additional guests.
