During your stay Geraldine & Joe love to travel and we are often away on an adventure. When home, we reside in a separate wing of our home w/ our own private entrance, kitchen & living space. We do not share any common space with guests. We greatly enjoy each guest. We or a manager are available to assist you in any way possible. Guest access Large home with southern exposure, extensive designer gardens and decks, patios, swimming pool (in season) and putting green. Our home is on a three level, one acre plus terraced property. Our guests reside in the Main House on the first level which features a 100 foot long expansive deck area with high end furniture, Weber BBQ, sink, awnings and umbrellas. The main entertainment area for guests is on the lower level which features a large Pool and Hot Tub deck area. Just above the main house is the Putting Green area which is also for guest use. Owners or a manager reside in a small cottage at the very upper level of our 1 acre property. Owners/manager are extremely aware of guests and will not disturb guest privacy in any way (see over 200 Airbnb 5 Star reviews over a 10 year period ) but can provide assistance and answer questions when needed. Owners/manager are completely independent of guests and do not share any part of the over 1/2 acre private guest areas. Owners/manager do NOT use the pool or hot tub. There are three levels to our property. We do work in the uppermost level 1/2 acre garden area (you are fully welcome in that area as well). That very upper garden area and the driveway are the only places owners or property manager might encounter guests. Other things to note Day Guests Our home and property are for REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. We do this as we have agreements with our neighbors to limit the number of guests. Also, we share our driveway with a neighbor so we need to be sensitive to the number of vehicles in the driveway. If you wish to have several (2) day guests on one day during your visit, that would be very fine. But please advise Geraldine and Joe in advance that you having guests and on which day so we can make arrangements with neighbors. Please ask guests not to bring dogs. Water useage is a universal problem for all Californians. We trust all guests will be environmentally responsible about their personal water useage. Due to Marin Co water restrictions and costs, on site laundry facilities are available only to long term guests (one week or more). The "common space" queen bed is an air mattress for use in the living room, adjacent to the kitchen & dining areas. The air mattress is available for the occasional family who requires it.
