COZY home, great location, W/D, & Full Kitchen!

Welcome to @MendonMtGetaway - my warm & cozy VT retreat! With 3 bedrooms, comfy living room, full kitchen, washer/dryer, AND office space - I hope you'll feel at home right away. You are in a wonderful location here. Turn left & you are just minutes down the road from ski heaven - Killington and Pico Mountains! Turn right, and you're just minutes from cute & historic Rutland. Either way you’ll find tons of great outdoor activities & hiking, and lots of local shops and restaurants. The space My house is a ranch style single family home, sitting conveniently right on the main road for quick travel. We are also NEWLY PET FRIENDLY! Please note that we do not have a fenced yard and that we are located on a main road, so please keep your good doggos leashed and be careful! Inside the home, you'll find 2 cozy bedrooms, each with: *super comfortable queen mattresses *sturdy frames (one bedroom is wood, one is metal) *2 types of pillows for different types of sleepers. *closet with hangers *luggage rack *nightstands with built-in USB ports The bathroom has been recently updated and has: * tub/shower combo * Plenty of good shampoo, conditioner, and body wash * Plenty of towels * Hand soap * Starter pack of toilet paper * also a hair dryer and a straightener for anyone who forgets to pack theirs as often as I forget to pack mine! Our area has SO many awesome local restaurants to choose from, and I definitely recommend you check out at least one or two. But when you're ready to stay in and relax at home, the large kitchen has just about everything you'll need to cook a good meal at home too! * Several pots and pans * Baking sheet * Griddle pan * Plenty of kitchen utensils and silverware *Toaster * Drip coffee machine that can do a big pot or a single cup (no k-cups), and stocked with coffee beans, coffee grinder, sugar, and also hot green tea packets. * There's plenty more, please free to message for any specifics on what is provided in the kitchen. * Please note, there is no dishwasher. And for those working from home, you'll be glad to find a private office space as well, with a good sized desk and comfy office chair. Adjoining the office area is a bonus room! There is a daybed set up with a twin mattress, perfect for anyone who needs a single bed to sleep, or just as a room to relax and chill out privately. Guest access You will have access to the entirety of the house, and I hope you find it enjoyable and super comfortable. The house does have a garage that we use for extra storage. It will be locked and unavailable to guests. There is a large 2 car driveway (could easily be 3 cars if they are smaller cars) for free and easy parking. Other things to note The house is located right off the main road. We love this for the easy access into both Killington and Rutland. However, the road is busy with cars during the day. You will notice some noise, mostly in the living room and dining area as they are on the side closest to the road. The bedrooms and office area on the other side of the house, facing away from the road.
