Welcome to your cozy and quaint basement suite! Located in an excellent location nearby ‘The Junction’ and ‘The Stockyards’ neighborhoods in Toronto, it is easily accessible via car or public transportation and is roughly twenty (20) minutes away from downtown. The space The suite has a separate entrance accessible via keypad and is fully private. The space is ideal for solo travellers and couples. We offer a well appointed unit and kitchen with brand new appliances, WiFi, 42” HDTV (online steaming only) and a Keurig coffee machine. Guests have access to premium 4K streaming services: Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ w/Star Content. Seasonally, guests also have access to and are encouraged to use our (shared) backyard. Our backyard has a deck, with a propane BBQ, and patio furniture. Guest access Guest(s) have access to their own suite- including their own kitchen, living room, washroom, and bedroom with one Queen sized bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. As mentioned prior, seasonally, guests can also enjoy our (shared) backyard. In terms of accessibility, please note that there is a small staircase going down to enter the unit. It may not be suitable for the elderly nor those with mobility concerns. The entryway to the unit and bedroom doorway have a lower ceiling clearance otherwise the unit’s ceiling is around a comfortable 7ft high. During your stay We endeavor to be great hosts and can be as interactive (or not) as is needed. We are lifelong Torontonians and can provide guests with tourist information and/or any recommendations. Other things to note Parking is only available on the street until midnight however a permit is required afterwards. Daily or weekly permits are purchased from the City of Toronto’s website. Weekly permits are about $35. There is no laundry machines available for guests, nor air conditioning available - we apologize for the inconvenience.
