Welcome to Bluff Point Lodge! Located on beautiful Smith Lake, our A-frame cabin has a modern rustic vibe & deep year around water. Conveniently located off of I-65, 1 hour from Birmingham, and a 5 minute drive from Trident Marina. The interior features beautiful wooden planks with cathedral ceilings. The exterior features plenty of secluded outdoor space to be immersed in nature & take in the beautiful scenery & sunset views. Two kayaks and one paddle board are also available for guests’ use. Living Area - Main living area features an open floor plan with cathedral A-frame ceilings. The living room is cozy with two couches, chairs, and a smart TV with high speed fiber internet. The dining table seats 8 and the kitchen counter seats 3. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, and cooking utensils. There is a half bath located right off the open living area as well. Bedroom #1 - Located downstairs and features a king-size bed, en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, a TV with all of the channels mentioned above, and clean, modern decor. Bedroom #2 - Located downstairs and features a queen-size bed, a large double-door closet, and clean, modern decor. Bedroom #3 - Located upstairs and features a queen-size bed, lofted ceilings, a large closet, and clean, modern decor. Loft Area - The loft area features two twin beds (twin daybed trundle) and a full bath. Exterior - The exterior of the home features a large wrap-around porch equipped with an extra-large Green Egg for guests' use, a beautiful sunset deck part way down to the lake, a covered bar built into the bluff, and an aluminum boat dock for swimming and sunbathing. The exterior of the cabin offers a lot of privacy and feels very secluded compared to many other rentals on the lake. Guests can keep their boat or jet ski tied to the side of the dock during their stay, but a covered slip will not be available. The dock also features a large lily pad, two kayaks, and one paddle board for guests’ use. Guests will have access to the entire cabin, all exterior decks, the dock, and access to the side of the dock to tie your own boat. We are located very close to Trident Marina, which offers a restaurant on site. There is also plenty of parking on-site. Hosts will not be on site, but we are readily available by text or a phone call. The house is located down a quiet dead end road along the lake. It is a 5 minute drive by car and a 2 minute drive by boat to Trident Marina. Trident has a restaurant on site where you can grab a bite to eat and possibly catch some live music on the weekends! The last half mile of the drive is on a gravel road. **PLEASE NOTE that the cabin is located on a bluff so there are MANY (~125) steps down to the dock and covered bar. This listing is not suitable for those with mobility issues. If bringing children please take extra caution when outdoors. The gorgeous views of being high up on the bluff do come with a price (some cardio!), but we think it is well worth it! By booking this property, all guests agree to swim and use the kayaks & paddle board at their own risk. No lifeguard is on-site or available. Guests agree to bring children at their own risk. The cabin is located on a bluff with steep drop-offs so children need to be monitored at all times. Guests also agree that keeping a boat or waverunner at the property is at their own risk and we are not responsible for any damage to the vessel that may occur.
