Beautiful grade II listed water mill house on the North Norfolk coast just 15 minutes walk to fashionable Burnham Market and with wonderful walks out to the dunes and sea. The house has a large airy sitting room with a gallery and a log burner and a well equipped kitchen. There are four double bedrooms, two with king size beds, one with adult-size bunk beds and one with twin beds. The gallery has a sofa bed. The private south facing terrace has idyllic views of the mill pond and amazing wildlife The space The Water Mill Race is a former water mill converted by the National Trust into a spacious, comfortable house for 8 people (10 with use of sofa bed) with beautiful views. The large sitting room with a vaulted ceiling is airy and has a door out to a balcony for sunny days. There is a wood burner for cooler nights. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is very well stocked with a dishwasher and lots of utensils, crockery, and glasses. On the ground floor there is a shower room with two double bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and the second with two singles. On the first floor there is a bedroom with an adult size bunkbeds and a family bathroom. The kitchen and sitting room with mezzanine and dining area, is also on this floor. On the second floor there is a large master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. We have added a floor plan to the images so that you can see the layout. The house has excellent WIFI - with a fully fitted surround sound system for the television. The Water Mill Race is next to other houses and apartments with south facing terraces overlooking the mill pond. The house has its own terrace with a large table and chairs. From the terrace you overlook National Trust land and the bird life is spectacular. Please note. The road can be very busy during the summer season. Children are very welcome but it is a water mill by a river and mill pond so young children must be supervised. Guest access Our son, Milo, manages the property and will be your point of contact. Milo is at university during term time but is available to answer any queries you may have. The house has 2 allocated parking spaces. There is no other parking at the property and so alternative arrangements will need to be made if you come with more than two cars. Other things to note Welcome to our cherished home. We welcome considerate guests to this magical area of the country. Please be aware of the following: 1. Strictly no barbecues 2. House has septic tank and so nothing but loo roll 3. Designated parking for a maximum of two cars 4. House is a former water mill. Take care of children.
