The Star Gazing Tree House

The Star Gazing Tree House is our newest acommodation at Woodland Escapes. Sleep beneath a canopy of stars and immerse yourself in pure luxury in the heart of the woodland. Set in its own private glade, our new Tree House offers the chance to be close to nature with the convenience of modern facilities and home comforts. The space Even before you unpack you will be planning a lazy afternoon on the wrap around deck and an even longer evening catching up with good company and a glass of something chilled in the *Scandinavian Wood Fired Hot Tub (£75.00 extra charge) (4 person hot tub) The hot tub will be lit on your day of arrival and includes one basket of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from the main house for £6 per bag. In the cosy living room area, you can sit back and relax on winter evenings next to the log burner on the comfortable L shaped sofa. Our Tree house sleeps up to 4 adults (not suitable for children under 8) and comprises of a Master bedroom with king size bed and a loft bedroom (low ceiling) accessed by a ladder with a double bed where guests can enjoy sleeping beneath the stars - a telescope is also available for use at your leisure. Spacious and well appointed, our Tree House has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, hob and oven, fridge freezer, kettle and coffee machine. A Gas BBQ is also available all year round. Gas for the outside firepit must be pre-ordered and is £25 per bottle. Pizza oven is an extra £20 charge and includes all the pizza equipment, fire lighting kit and dough balls. Sorry we cannot cater for gluten free. Due to the second bedroom being up a loft ladder on an elevated platform, we do not believe this property would be suitable for children under 8 years old. However, alternative arrangements can be made for younger children - please contact us before booking to discuss options. Guest access Guests have their own part of a private 45 acre woodland. Please note that there may well be other guests and dogs on site. Other things to note Dogs welcome for £25 each. Payable direct before check in. Please note that if you require the extra bedroom (but you are only a party of 2), an extra charge of £15 per person per night will apply to cover costs of laundry. Please note all payment for extras is due BEFORE CHECK IN so please can ensure you have the correct cash if paying in cash or you have transferred the amount by bank transfer. The hot tub is an extra £75 charge and will need to be paid for either by bank transfer or in cash before arrival. Guests who wish to use the hot tub will need to give us 48 hours notice. Please note that if you wish to cancel the hot tub you will need to do 24 hours before or the price will be payable. A fire lighting kit for your log burner can be supplied at an additional charge of £10. This includes fire lighters, kindling and one bag of logs. Gas for the outside firepit must be pre-ordered and is chargeable at £25 per bottle. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we will be offering contactless check ins to protect you. Information about this check in process will be sent to you via email a few days before arrival. ALL GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AND SIGN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SENT BY EMAIL BEFORE ARRIVAL. No visitors are permitted on site unless by prior arrangement. No visitors are permitted to stay overnight. Please note that a positive covid test no longer restricts travel, therefore no refunds can be given for guests who do not wish to travel. Please ensure you have the appropriate medical/travel insurance.
