We invite you to come and enjoy our little piece of country in north Pasco County, Florida! Not fancy, but comfortable is our objective for our guests! We are not a business (nor are we owned by a business) therefore we do not conduct our hospitality like a business, but rather as hosts looking to meet and make new friends! We do all our own cleaning and set-up in the guesthouse so that we know it is done the way we would do it for our own family. Located in a rustic 2.5 acre country setting surrounded by shady oak and towering hickory trees, our guest house is a very comfortable ranch style space. Garage parking is available with direct access to the guest house from the garage. Lovely views across the lake from our guest-accessible front porch. Enjoy walking around our park-like property listening for the variety of bird songs and peaceful shaded paths. Five minutes outside of beautiful Dade City, Florida. Our guest house includes a full bath, kitchen and bedroom/living area as well as a private patio with direct access. Guests have enclosed garage parking attached to the guest house. Our property is fenced and gated. Guest accessible pool is completely screen enclosed and enjoyable any time of day. The front porch has become a beloved place to sit and enjoy the frequent breeze off the lake while watching the hawks, eagles and myriad waterfowl. Gators have been spotted from this porch, too! We are nearly always available in the main house and always by phone. We are located across from beautiful Lake Suwanee in the midst of the gentle rolling hills of Pasco County. Our property is well shaded with many towering oak and hickory trees replete with squirrels, hawks, owls and a variety of song birds. We offer a very refreshing walking path around our property that, when properly followed will amount to just over a half mile, much of it under the shade of these trees! Our guests have always commented on the quietness experienced while visiting here. Tree Toppers Adventure Park and Scream-A-Geddon are 15 minutes from our location. Only 5 minutes away is San Antonio, Florida, home to one of the area's favorite Mexican restaurants, Poncho Villa. St. Leo University, just around the corner from us in St. Leo, Florida, offers beautiful rolling hills (Yep! There are hills in Florida!) and golfing. Less than 3 miles to Dade City, a real American 'home town' offers multiple antique stores, gift shops and unique eateries. Bicycling and walking paths are available in several places in Dade City. The 46 mile Withlacoochee State Trail begins approximately 8 miles north of Dade City at the Trilby Trail head and is perfect for biking, walking or strolling. We do NOT allow smoking anywhere on our property at any time. Out of consideration for our home and non-smoking guests we ask that this restriction be respected and honored. Both my wife and I cannot tolerate smoke and odors from tobacco. Thank you for not smoking on our property!
