Our river shack is elevated providing beautiful river and country views. Large out door deck with SPA,out door fire and table tennis table. We also have a telescope for star gazing. Take in the magical golden cliffs or look towards the river and hills while you relax and enjoy some respite :) The space FOR AUSTRALIA DAY THERE IS STRICT NO PARTY POLICY. Please advise at time of booking with ages groups and why you are visiting. *Please be sure to read rules prior to booking* Relax and unwind at River Respite @ Young Husband. Take in the beautiful river and sprawling country views as you relax in our outdoor spa, sip your wine on the large out door deck or toast your marshmallows by one of the large out door fire pits and take in the magnificent cliffs. River Respite is located away from other shack groups which gives you the privacy and peace that is hard to find. Watch your kids playing on the front lawn while you cook up a feast on the BBQ or sit peacefully and watch the abundance of bird life fly by. River Respite is a special spot for families and couples looking to get away from the chaos of peak time river usage while still being able to enjoy the fun of the river. River front access and professional floating jetty is located just a short walk from the front of the property and can be seen from the front lawn and house at all times. Our property is elevated. There is a small inclined driveway to the house. It is an easy few minutes walk to the river. Private river access with jetty is for our guests only, it is not shared - it is also gated. Younghusband is part of Australia’s only Dark Sky Reserve! Excellent for viewing the stars! Even better with a telescope we provide. Please inform us if you have boats or skis. Canoes are complimentary along with 3 average size life jackets. Pet's allowed inside but not on furniture. We ask you clean up after your dog. Eg. Hair and poop. please inform us if you wish to bring your pet(s) and add them to the guest list. The Property is fully fenced with cattle fencing, Smaller dogs may get through or dogs which like to jump fences. We ask you not leave dogs unattended at the property - please check to see if the property is suitable for your dog. All BED linen provided except for bathroom towels. (tea towels, bath mat, bathroom hand towel are provided.) Sleeping Lay Out: Bedroom 1 Queen bed Bedroom 2: Double bed. Bedroom 3: Queen Bed and bunk bed for kids only Maximum 6 Adults and 2 Kids. (Property comfortable for 4 Adults, 4 kids. max ) Things to NOTE * We do not accept bookings for trade/worker accommodation. *We have a preference to guests with previous 5 star reviews if you have no reviews you may be asked to add some information about your group. *When booking please add all guests that may stay at the property for the entire stay including pets, there is to be no additional guests or visitors during your stay unless authorized. *Our cleaning fee is charged to maintain the cleanliness of the property after each stay, it includes full house clean and sanitize, Spa drained, refilled and sanitized, linen removal and change after every stay. We ask if you can place dishwasher on when leaving and maintain a tidy house during your stay. *SPA If there are back to back bookings, and cold winter weather, the spa may not be ready at your desired temperature until approximately 8 to 9 pm of your first night. (This is due to the fact we change spa water over with every booking to provide you with a clean hygienic spa) *SPA - Spas are very technical machines. We do our best to keep it in working order, although unlikely, technical failures can happen at any time and we do not refund bookings if the spa happens to stop working during your stay. This over rides any other rulings from air bnb. * Internet can be patchy in busy periods. Min stay 2 night Long weekend 3 nights Easter 4 nights No check outs on Saturdays to enable others to book for weekends unless approved. Guest access All areas can be accessed, except for locked sheds and inside locked cupboard. Other things to note House Rules: - we have these rules due to past incidents :( No parties. Strict eviction applies. No additional guests or camping. strict eviction applies. House runs on Septic, please don’t flush any other items besides toilet paper. No motor bikes No weapons of any kind and no hunting. No trespassing onto neighbors property. Please wear life jackets when using canoes. All rubbish to be disposed of in bins provided. Please be mindful of others on the water while using jet skis or boats. (For example: please don’t hoon around on jet skis in front of other shacks. Enjoy the whole river.) No fireworks. No smoking (check with host) Please don’t collect wood from neighboring properties. If bringing own wood, please don’t leave cut wood cuttings on property. No fish cleaning at the house. Do not park vehicles on lawn areas. Do not leave dog beds, ski equipment, towels etc. on lawn area for long periods as it burns the lawn. Do not turn off security systems. We don’t expect you to give the house a deep clean before you leave, just leave the property in a clean and satisfactory manner. Dishes away, empty bin etc. Extra fees may apply if more time is required to clean than usual. Please use the Younghusband store / caravan park. ( closest ) Boat ramp. Use of the private boat road near the property is not permitted due to safety concerns. Failure to follow any of the above rules may result in partial or full bond being forfeited. Full bond forfeited for neighbor complaints, additional unapproved guests, trespassing on neighboring properties, cutting of trees down for fire wood, parties.
